Cool While It Lasted

I was very excited about receiving this controller. Everything was great for about 6 months. The controller started to develop pretty bad stick drift on the leftt stick. If you are laying prone in any kind of first person shooter, you will slowly start to inch forward without touching a thing. I thought this thing would be built to last considering the price but ended up with a controller that I don't use due to technical issues. Very, very disappointed with this purchase. Your money could be better spent on something else.

The Sonos Playbar is absolutely fantastic. I've had it for a few months now and I love this soundbar. The ease of use is a big feature here. The setup is incredibly easy and intuitive. Just keep in mind that the Sonos app is required to set it up and use it. The sound quality is right where I would expect it to be for the price. I was looking at doing an entire home theater setup with the receiver and speakers. One big issue with that is running wires. It is near impossible to hide them with the way my space is setup and I'm not a huge fan of running wires in the wall and make speaker placement pretty much permanent. This solved all those issues. Everyone in my family has no issue operating it! I have this paired with a sub and I couldn't be happier. We are listening to significantly more music since I purchased this! I will also note that I didn't have any type of existing system so I was ready to jump in to a new "ecosystem" feet first. I'm glad I went with Sonos! If you already have a bunch of existing audio equipment that you want to keep, it may not be the best option for you. Their support is also excellent! I had some wireless interference issues and they responded quickly and their support staff knows what they are talking about which is a refreshing surprise!

I bought the Sub to pair with my Playbar. I was a little surprised at first that the sub was priced the same as the Playbar itself. Once I had it up and going (which only took a few minutes), I can see why. This thing can handle some pretty serious lows and will bring an entire new appreciation for movies and music. I was using a cheap Samsung soundbar and wireless sub before this and there is no comparison! There is virtually no rattle that comes from this. It's built very well and has a nice weight. This thing absolutely rocks! I wouldn't suggest it if you live in a small apartment and share a wall with a neighbor.

BIG Sound - Small Footprint

At first glance, you wouldn't expect much from the Play 1. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound and loudness that comes from these! I ended up buying two and put one in the kitchen and one in the garage (since they are humidity resistant). Sonos has yet to disappoint! I have a Playbar and Sub as well and these work well with that when grouped together. I can just walk from the garage through the house and have music everywhere!
