I love the series and really wanted to have the music for when I am driving in the car. Being of Scottish descent I love bagpipes and Celtic music, so loved the music when I was watching the first half of season 1. I have been on the lookout for the soundtrack since the end of the first few episodes and was not disappointed when it was finally made avaiable after the first of the year. On the soundtrack you get all of the music that had meaning in the show and can feel the years rolling away as you're on your way to 1743.
If you are a fan of the show or traditional Scottish music, I feel that you will enjoy this CD as much as I do.
