Great microphone for the money

I used this for a video class I took in college. It mounted easily to my Canon 6D and started working immediately. It gave the video amazing audio, however be warned that the frequency response on this thing is a little wacky. A LOT of high-end response and very little lows. It had an easier time picking up a bird about 30 years away than it did the person we interviewed 10 feet in front of us. You can do better, but probably not for the price I paid for this thing.

I bought this for my fiance. She loved it because it was clear and advertised that it "wouldn't yellow". She had it on for, I'm not even exaggerating here, a day and it already started to yellow along the soft rubber pieces. Now those same pieces are a dark brown/yellow color and it makes the rest of the case look really bad. Pass up on this one.
