When I initially unpacked the UPS, flipped the battery, and installed it, the UPS said the battery was at 100%. I thought this odd since it was manufactured in November. I let it charge overnight anyway and the next day I installed the software and ran the self test. PC immediately powered completely off. I turned it back on and simulated a power failure by removing power to the UPS. Same thing happened. UPS does not switch over to battery power.
At peak power I am only using 20% of the UPS wattage.
When I pulled the battery out to inspect it, I did note one of the two metal tabs appeared to be missing. When I re-inserted the battery again it showed 0% charge and would not take a charge. I think the battery was damaged upon manufacture or testing.
I returned but will try again when my BB certificate is available to use again. Will update my review when I get a replacement.

Worst product I've ever purchased actually. Does not even come close to fitting the Tab A 10.1. About an inch too narrow. Plus no matter how you configure it, the tab A will not rest on the slanted surface without sliding off.
