John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, the duo that lit up the screen in the film version of the musical Grease, re-teamed for this 1983 heavenly romantic comedy. Directed by John Herzfeld, Two of a Kind finds God contemplating wiping out the human race and starting from scratch. A group of angels plead with The Almighty to reconsider and he agree to give humankind another shot if they can make Travolta and Newton-John fall for each other. The film is given a straightforward DVD treatment on its debut release. Void of any special features, the disc includes both widescreen and full-screen transfers as well as Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Additionally, there are Dolby Digital Mono track that have been dubbed in Spanish and French and subtitles in English and Spanish.
Jake and Michael together. I had watched this movie at least 5 times before seeing it at Best Buy on blu ray for less than 10 dollars. Blu ray offers some excellent extra's.
