Keep laundry chores light with this 4.2 cu. ft. GE washer. Its PreciseFill button customizes water levels for different load sizes, and the dual-action agitator and auto soak features deliver thoroughly clean results. The 14 wash cycles on this GE washer provide flexible operation for different fabric types, and fast spin speeds reduce drying time.

Functional and down-to-earth

It's practically impossible to find an older-style top-loading agitating tub washer anymore, but this model is about as close as you can get.
It has an actual load size knob (far left) in addition to the now-standard "auto-size" functionality in most newer washers.
The water comes in from the top, so you don't have to stack clothes like a brickmason to get it to work, like many new top-loaders where the water comes in from the bottom.
So far it's done a great job washing clothes, towels, and sheets, and I didn't personally find it to be all that loud - it's probably louder than a front-loader, but it's no louder than the old-style top-loader I had before.
It occasionally gets unbalanced and vibrates when spinning, but I think this is an issue with any of the newer top-loading HE machines that spin very fast.
Best Buy delivery was also good - they made sure the water hoses weren't leaking etc., before they left.

Very flexible and functional

I love this remote so far.
At first I was disappointed in the programming; it is quite easy to find your components with the MyHarmony, but I wished it had more flexibility. I thought all you could do was assign devices and activities.
But no, if you look under Settings and Buttons, you get much more precise control than I had at first thought.
If you go to "Remote Gallery", and click on your remote, you can see these options - I didn't even know they were there at first.
Unlike some reviewers, I think the construction feels solid, and the buttons are backlit with a faint orange - dim, but enough to see in the dark.

Great package for most gamers

There's lots of options for gaming PCs, but for me this one is a great package in the "sweet spot" of power vs. cost. Good-range Core i7, 8MB, decent video card, a 1 TB HD *and* a 120 GB SSD (Windows installed on the SSD), and a well-ventilated case with plenty of room for adding extra drives, etc.. No hassle of choosing custom components and/or self-assembly.
Performance has been great in the PC games I've tried so far.
If you really feel you need 16 GB RAM, or a top-of-the-line video card, you can always upgrade those later (the power supply will support a card that needs an additional power lead), but you'll probably be fine with most games on this PC as is.
If there's a drawback, it's that the mouse is only OK and the keyboard is kind of flimsy; but most gamers already have their own mouse and keyboard they'll plug into it anyway.
Add quick delivery and BestBuy's financing options and this was a perfect fit for me.

I don’t see that this machine is rated as a High Efficient machine. Can I use regular detergent?

It is an HE machine. You can see the little "HE" logo on the far right of the knobs panel.

How good is Power Supply/PSU?

I've heard alot of horror stories about the standard PSU that you put in almost all of your PCs which are garbage, and supposedly popped, exploded, and downright fails very often, and even takes out other parts of the PC with it, and that the people on reviews say that you should immediately switch it out with a better name brand one as soon as you get the PC before you even plug it in and turn it on for the first time. IS any of this true? Should I be worried?
I've only had mine for a month or so, but no problems so far. It can also support video cards that require an additional power cable.
