I bought one of Garmin's first GPSs along time ago and I say that about it and the one's leading up to this one." If you are happy with being right and helpful to you 98% of the time, you will be very, very happy with this GPS, but if you want 100% of the time, you will not be that happy" Garmin keeps improving their products and has a telephone number you can call for help if you need it. Bad part, you will have to down load the user's manuel from their web site for full details on how to use all the stuff this can do The 50LMT Drive Assist is their last year's model so it is a little cheaper than the new 51LMT DriveAssist but to my way of thinking, is actually better. You need a wire cord to down load maps, etc on the old model where the new one is wireless but this means it takes longer to down load files. Garmin also has it where you can down load your saved places to your computer so if your GPS is stolen or lost, when you buy a new one, you can down your information to your new GPS. Did I mention that this model also records while you are driving, can be used for hands free cell phone use, and many others ways to help you drive safely.

Great way to view and record up coming TV shows

I love my Tivo! They is no way to record up coming TV shows on VHS machines any more. Unless you have cable TV DVRs, you are out of luck. I bought this Tivo which has a one time use fee and I can record 4 shows at on time and it has a great TV guide. My only complaint is the Tivo does not come with an instruction booklet. By experimenting with the remote control, I was able to figure out most of the things it can do. I no longer have expensive cable TV shows but have plenty to watch on regular TV and You Tube, Netfix, Hula, etc.

This is a great cell phone, great camera, and mini computer. My old cell phone was simiple to use but did not do any thing else. This new phone does so much more but it takes time to learn how to work it and no instructions came with it other than their home web site. You really have to by an instruction book to learn all the in's and out's on how to use this cell phone. If it came with better instructions on how to use it, I would have given the phone 5 stars.

Great Smart Phone - - - But

I just recently gave up my old dumb flip phone for this new top of the line Apple I Phone. It is a great phone and can do almost anything(besides being a cell phone, it can be your computer, your camera, your flash light, with Siri your information friend, your Compass, and the list goes on and on) however the BIG down side is that it will take a long time to learn how to use all of its functions and APPs that come with the phone and ones that you can add. Not much help when I bought it. No information in the box other than the apple web site. I discovered a built in App that had "tips" within the icon but the bottom line is if you really want to get good with it, you will need to get a book on how to use the Apple I Phone 7 and then practice, practice, practice. The more you use it, the better you will get at using it. If you are just going to use it for making and receiving telephone calls and texting, buy a cheaper flip phone. This is more like flying a jet airplane.

Nice thin cases to put your DVDs and CDs

These cases allow me to store so many more DVDs than my old VHS and Beta tapes. I record the old tapes to blank DVD disc and then install the disc's into the new cases. They are untra thin and have a spot to install a paper informatiom sheet. I just wish the cases were a little bit heavier duty and were more available. Best Buy have them in close out so I do not know how much longer that they will be available.

My wife and I really enjoy this Murder She Wrote complete series. Most we already saw and enjoyed watching again and some we had not seen and enjoyed seeing for the first time. Good clean entertainment without all the special effects of a lot of the newer movies or X rated stuff, The whole family can watch each series one at a time or several at a time depending how much time you have available.

Are the units for sale at $228 new or refurbished?
The reasons that they are cheaper I think is because they are last years model. The one I bought from Best Buy on sale was a brand new GPS. I called Garmin and asked what the difference was between the new 51LMT DriverAssist which is the newer model and the older 50LMT DriverAssist was and they said newer model is wireless, while the older needs a wire cord to down load or up load information.

Is this CLP99483 has a hold botton
Not really but it does have a mute button which allows you to talk with some one next to you without the person on the phone to hear what you are saying. If you have "call waiting" from your phone company, you can switch hook your phone to hold while you answer or make another telephone call and then switch hook back to your orginal person you were done talking with the new person and or if the new person stays on the line you can have a joint or conference call.

i want to buy a phone system that can be connectet to my cable modum with a hard line
I want to connect my phone system to Comcast. is that possible ? I want the main phone connected to the cable modum and the satilite phones connected wireless.
If I under stand your question correctly, the answer is yes. My land line comes off of my modum from comcast and the other phones that came with the box use high defination wireless connection to the base. By buying this system you also have the ability to use your cell phone too if it has blue tooth which most if not all cell phones now have.

Can I have this as a land line with the 4 connections?
My condo requires that every owner have a land line, so I can't give mine up, but I do have 2 cell phones
These phones are perfect for what you want. You connect the base phone to your land line and then you have to "par" the cell phones to the base phone. It has room for two cell phones and one land line. If you follow the instructions that came with the phones, paring the cell phones to the land line base phone through you "blue tooth" ability of your cell phone is no problem.
