Great Inexpensive Vertical Mouse

I can’t use any form of wireless mice at work (DoD). I also am not allowed to load any drivers.
Any peripherals I purchase have to be “plug and play” with Windows 7/10. We use either HP or Dell stock mice and keyboards w/ built in CaC readers.
I am comparing this mouse Adesso Vertical USB mouse to the medium Evoluent VM4 Vertical USB mouse.

All the features seem to work on this mouse without any additional drivers. Two buttons on the right and scroll wheel work just like stock mice.

I cannot program change the function of the third button which is too low and my ring finger already has nerve damage (right click) without installing drivers.
Cons:
So far only see one size and it’s a smaller size. I have a large hands so I wish it came in a medium or was a little bigger. The bottom of my hand/palm is already sore from years of using government issue stock mice. The bottom of my hand rubs the desk while I use this mouse.

So for the price and compatibility with true “plug and play” abilities .... it is a great deal.
Also everyone thinks it looks cool the subtle accent blue light on the left side is the shape of horizontal arch .... get a lot of comments “cool mouse”, “looks like something from the StarTrek”, etc.!

This vertical mouse features a sculpted design for right-handed users. The 6 programmable buttons and scroll wheel are easy to reach and use comfortably. Pointer speed controls on the side allow for convenient adjustment.

High Learning Curve, Drivers a Must

Must be able to install drivers to program the second button to Right-Click instead of the third button on right side.
I work for DoD so I cannot have drivers installed or wireless/blue tooth mice which makes this mouse too expensive.
I don’t want to train my motor skills at home where I can install the drivers I really needed something for work.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Hard to find plug and play ergonomic mice that are not wireless!

I use this Echo Dot as my alarm clock and more. I use it to go to sleep listening to music/nature sounds. It's nice to be able to take my glasses off and still be able to start my sleep playlist add an additional alarm etc.
I like being able to ask ALEXA for the weather. It is really nice to be able do everything by voice/hands free; especially in the mornings while I am getting ready for work.
I also took it camping this summer in my little RV. Its so compact I think I will take it on my next vacation too!

Otherwise nice thin case not real tight fit if you take it in and out of your jeans pocket edges come a little loose.
