Okay, so John Wick just wants to be left alone and they won't leave him alone. The poor man's newest hero kills bad guys at will, avenges the loss of his puppy, mourns the death of his girlfirend, and knows fifty ways to kill a guy. What's not to like? Great action, cool chases, fine classic autos, and an actor who knows how to play a role. Pretty high body count, but its great.
I love the Bourne books and consequently love the movies as well. Few films have the action, storyline and excitement portrayed in this series. While this is a great film, it is not superior to the fourth Bourne epic. Julia Stiles is great as his connection and as is usually the case, dies during the chase so she won't be in the subsequent thriller. Super cinematography, and great venues, as well as fantastic villains.
Having read the book series, I was interested in how faithfully the films would follow the storyline. The film captures the essence of the book and moves along nicely.
This is a movie that has excellent action and fine acting, so prepare to be drawn into a drama that is the result of fine directing and that tells a great story.

I recently purchased a Sony Blue-Ray player with smart technology. The unit has performed flawlessly so far and I really appreciate the button on the remote which accesses Netflix directly. Good value and performance but the unit is incredibly lightweight and I am wondering about longevity. Time will tell.
