SSD drives are the future. The main parts of your computer that really slow it down, crappie slow hard drives. SSD can get you up in running in seconds (from start up), compared to 30 seconds with a hard drive.

would this be a good camera for sporting events, baseball and basketball?
The slow-motion is nice for baseball. With only an hour of filming time in 4k, it wouldn't be a good choice for long term videos. Plus the wide-angle lens would put you too far away from the action.

My question is, would this be a good cam for taking videos of fireworks or is there something else out there that would be better for about the same price or less even? Also looking at Model: HDRAS50/B SKU: 4847701 so I don't absolutely need 4k res.
