Not bad for being updated to 60 fps and 1080p, remade for xbox 1 some of the bosses are tuff and you can play with 2 players picked up cause 4 is coming soon. I just installed this outlet. My old outlet had the ability to use a switch on the wall for power, but after installing the new outlet the switch no longer functions. The outlet is working properly other than working with the wall switch. Any suggestions?
It's about cutting off tabs to separate outlets, I'm sure you had multiple wires to outlet you need to pick up a basic wiring book even consult you tube to get it right and make sure you turn off circuit breaker. Actually having a manual better because you can use for future wiring projects.

Why would I get this rather than the one that has Surge Protection.... wouldn't I want all of my stuff surge protected??? (genuine question- i'm trying to decide & buy today during the the sale price)---Thank you!
This outlet would allow you to install a surge strip because surge strips wear out and installing surge strip is cheaper then going back in to replaced an outlet. Also surge strip allow you to select different amount of joules ratings to protect your equipment various equipment needs.

I have iMac; can I transfert files from iMac to Toshiba HD, or from Toshiba HD to iMac?
Look at box you have to format for mac. Box states if compatable.

Can this drive be used with PC and Mac, multiple units, without reformatting?
Mac, Linux , Windows even Xbox1 you will have to format to that operating system and if you decide to use on one of the others you will have to format it because it will not read it. You can try but I wouldn't do it might scramble brain. I've tried with sd cards always have had to reformat.

How to write on drive using mac?
Do I need to format it for mac? I don't need the cloud or back up or anything, I just need to save files in it.
I believe this is compatible with mac side of box should also let you know also website if you don't want to go to store I usually do both and ask person at store but if it doesn't that's where return policy comes in.

would this be good for karaoke music files?
This drive will hold any files I use for my Xbox 1 but have other Toshiba drives I connect to computer and do backups to and save other stuff also.

How to delete backed-up files?
NTI back-up EZ software does not have option to delete files, How do you delete all or some of the fles that are on the Canvio ext. drive ?

how would you do this if possible
I don't think you can share blue tooth technology with two different units because that is assignable, but if you can connect receivers to the internet I am sure if you set up sharing with computer on home network they will both play the same thing especially if you have playlist.
