Looking to update my custom built Win XP Home PC. It only has USB 2 ports- not USB 3. Can I still use it to upgrade my computer? I also bought a 2 TB hard drive, can I make my computer dual boot (Win XP Home on one drive and Win 10 Home on the other?)

Yes you souldn't have a problem at all. I have USB 2 ports and a dual install with Windows 7. It works perfect.

Is window 10 different from office? How important is office?

Office is not an operating system. An operating system is essential to make a computer work. WIndows 10 is an Operating System. Office is for "clerical" stuff. Excell, Word, Power Point, those kind of things, that you can actually need in your personal life but not necessary for a computer at all.. So Office is not essential at all. I assume you are trolling but anyway.

XP to Windows 10? What do I need? Buy 8.1 then upgrade to 10? I have dual 2.4 processors, 3 GB ram, 421 go hard ,directx9? I downloaded Windows8.1 Enterprize from Microsoft 90 day! Booting from CD-ROM got to a point of NO media driver found?

It seems you have a way old machine there, but you can check on the Microsoft site. If your computer is less than 6 years old you should be alright.

I have Windows 7 is this a good upgrade to use? The free version would freeze at 87% download so I was wondering if this would stop ?

This is a lot better than Windows 7 indeed. I upgraded, clean install. I couldn't be happier.

I have an older laptop ,circa 2010, with Office 2003 currently installed. Will I be able to load Windows 10?

Probably but you can make sure looking on Microsoft site. My computer is from 2011 and it runs great with Windows 10.

What's the difference between Windows 10 home operating system vs Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-Bit) - Windows?

On the user end basically nothing. Windows 10 Home and Pro would have 32 and 64 bit versions, and there differences between the Home and Pro versions, but nothing noticeable between the 32 and 64 bit versions. Unless you have a 32 bit system just get the 64 bit one.
