Replacement Apple ear buds

These are a replacement for the ear buds my son got with his phone. He likes the style, fit, and controls. I'm neutral about their ability to withstand use by a teenage boy (can anything stand up to that? ). I rated these neutral because I don't like the lightning port that requires specific accessories and I think these are over priced. I realize we could use an adapter but that is small and likely to be lost.

My daughter bought this before a trip to Disney/ universal studios. It was fun to have an old school type of camera and she got some really cool pictures. Hogwarts turned out really good. She lost a couple pictures because she didn't adjust from inside to outside (no auto adjust on these) but that's because she wasn't used to it. Film seems expensive when you compare it to storing digital media but I think it is worth it for occasional use.

This is a replacement cable for my son's iPod. I'm not sure if this is a replacement for the one he lost, the off brand one that no longer works, or the one that was dragging outside the car door for a nearly 2 hour drive. I think with a little refinement the case could be very good. Unfortunately, the case for my son's 5th gen iPod touch would cause it to turn on and shut off at random. I contacted LifeTouch customer service and, after taking several pictures, they sent a replacement case - that did the exact same thing. To test my design flaw theory I used a rotary tool and cleared out a small area near the power button and problem solved! Unfortunately, the case faces were all used by this time so additional faces will need to be purchased so the adhesive can be trusted around water. So - make sure you have access to a rotary tool if you want to have this case and any battery life on your iPod.

does the case get sold in stores?
I would like to by this life proof case but the website doesn't tell me if they are sold near me. I would really like to know so I don't waste gas.
I bought the case for my son's iPod at our local Best Buy. I did not find them stocked at any other stores in town.
