I know that at this point anyone who wanted to see this movie already has but here's my two cents. There's a lot to like about this movie but it comes up waaaaay short of the graphic novel. Of course, anyone who has read the graphic novel would have expected that.
Within minutes of starting my first episode of this iteration of Sherlock, I was hooked, and it was no different for this special. Spanning the small gap between seasons 3 and 4 this is an hors d'oeuvres that leaves you hungry for the season that follows.

I bought this device to use with my not smart Samsung tv and in most ways it does everything I expected. The only issues are it's a bit slow to start up and I'm not finding these 250+ apps that are supposedly available.
Sherlock offers a 21st century set updating of Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective tales. This release contains every episode from the British program's first season which featured Benedict Cumbercatch and Martin Freeman as the iconic Holmes and Watson.
Sherlock is, in my opinion, one of the best things on tv in the last ten years. Great writing brings the soul of the characters and the stories into modern London and great acting brings them both to life. I show Sherlock to anyone I know that hasn't seen it and every one of them had loved it. What better endorsement could there be?

What's great about it: Great acting, writing, cinematography. In short, nearly everything.
What's not so great: It's too short. Three hour and a half episodes is not nearly enough.
