This headset is excellent for gaming, and at a reasonable price. It is only wired to the controller, so don't let the "Wired" moniker turn you away from this product, you are not attached to the XBOX One at any time while playing, unless you're charging your controller.
It would be 5 Star, except it sometimes does not let audio come through if you turn the XBOX on at the console, instead of on the controller. This is an easy fix, you simply disconnect the headset controller from the game controller, and reconnect. It's easy to disconnect.
The bass boost is great, and has two settings. You can probably get away with the lower setting, but you won't want to when you're playing video games; the explosions are great with this headset.
Another bonus to this headset is that you can use it with other audio sources, i.e. stereos, iPod/iPhone, etc. It's a regular audio jack, so it will double as your over-the-ear headphones if you want them to. You're buying a good product.

I purchased this TV for myself several months ago, and recently purchased another one for a family member. I haven't had any problems with the original TV which is several months old, the video is crisp, and the sound is very good. I use it mainly to play on XBOX, so the refresh rate is good enough to play on the Elite in any game I've played this far. If you're looking for an inexpensive 2nd TV, or a TV mainly for gaming at close range, this is the one you should be buying.
