They have really come down in price and I do enjoy this device. It is a little chunkier than I thought it would be, but totally manageable. I have it on my car keys and use it multiple times a week to keep track of them. The "find my phone" feature is also very nice. I don't like how once the battery dies, you have to replace the whole thing.

Completly fine laptop for the price

Don't expect a stellar laptop at this price, but it gets the job done. Build quality isn't anything special and it is quite "plasticy." The keyboard is a bit frustrating as they squeeze the arrow keys and shrink the right hand shift key which is difficult to get used to. The keypad is nice but cramped. Does QuickBooks and email, which is all I need.

This is a great decent quality printer from HP. It allows me to print two-sided paper and scan documents if needed. Very easy to print from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The paper drawer is a bit clunky to use, but not that big of an issue. Footprint is pretty small too.

Good entry by Google into the smart home assistant

The natural comparison for this product is the Amazon Echo, which I have owned since early 2015. I bought the Google Home to see which one I liked better, which I am still figuring out but I do give the Google Home a thumbs up. It does not support that many smart home devices upon launch, but I know more will come. It was very easy to set up and connect with my Hue lights and my Nest thermostat. Microphones are responsive and was able to pick up my voice from a good distance away. Sound quality is pretty good though about as expected for a speaker that size. I prefer the "air freshener" look of the Home to the harsh look of the Echo, but that is personal preference. I also like that you can default a service like Spotify for audio and music and the Assistant does a pretty good job of recognizing your playlists. Speaking of the Assistant, it does a great job of answering questions with more detail than Alexa does and I know it will only get better.

Recently purchases this as an upgrade for my mom's iPad 2. The build quality is great, it is nice and thin, looks beautiful, and has some really nice features. The four speakers are a great improvement when watching movies and videos. The screen also tints it's color based on the environment, which makes the screen feel warmer and calmer than previous models. Front camera is good quality and the screen is beautiful.

I got the lens for outdoor and wildlife photography and am looking forward to using it. I have been very happy with the Nest Thermostat overall. It is my second purchase in the Nest family after my Nest Cam. Installation was very easy and I had no knowledge going in installing thermostats. The design is thin and modern with an intuitive UI. The only problem I have had with Nest is the Auto-Away feature has been wonky ever since I installed the Nest Thermostat as the Cam and Thermostat don't seem to talk to each other very well. For example, when I get home, my AC might start but the Cam does not turn off even though the app recognizes that I am home. Hopefully some of these bugs will get worked out.

Good entry into the smart home future

I'm a big fan of Nest products and this was my first purchase. Setup was very simple - the longest part was setting up a Nest account. The camera has either a magnetic base or you can attach it to a wall. Easy to turn and pivot and the wide angle lens is great.
The biggest drawback is to have the ability to go back or save videos, you need to subscribe to a Nest Aware package. Cheapest is 10 days of history for $100/yr or $10/mo. That is pretty expensive and I have yet to buy into that. Also, when you do not have a subscription, the quality of alerts diminishes, so you don't get notified right away if movement is seen in your house. These features could change in the future, and I believe they should. I plan on buying the subscription if I go away on a trip or something like that, but I can't justify it for day to day purchases.
