Unboxed it and got it connected to wifi pretty easily using WPS. Tried installing the software on one computer, but it froze up after installing and running. Tried installing on another computer and got a little further - it did see the Slingbox on the network. I got about halfway into configuring it but it hung up at the point where it was trying to configure the remote. Uninstalled the software, did a hard reset on the Slingbox, reconnected it to the wifi, tried again and it hung up in the same spot. Tried installing the Sligbox app on my Android tablet, thinking that might get further... alas, you can't configure the slingbox that way - you can only use it once it's already configured. At that point, I'd spent an hour of my life on this silly thing so I gave up and returned it.

First, the good: The key travel is very nice. And obviously it's ergonomic, which I always appreciate in a keyboard - I use the Microsoft something-or-other 5000 ergonomic keyboard and mouse mostly. Second, the bad: It's bluetooth, and it kept dropping the connection and some letters. It was random - it would work for an hour, then have a fit, then work for two more hours. Maybe it was the bluetooth on my computer, but I didn't care enough about the keyboard to try and figure it out. Also, the standard Microsoft keyboard software won't control this keyboard, so you can't override any of the F keys or really do anything at all other than whatever the standard keys do. I do like the "favorite" buttons on the MS 5000 keyboard so I kind of miss those. Lastly, the F keys are spaced oddly. Being a programmer, I use all the F keys a lot and I like having them in clusters of four... I know, that's pretty picky.
In the end, I returned it mostly due to the dropped connection. But maybe you won't have that problem. If I hadn't, I would be typing on it right now!

Prior to this Sony, I've had both a Philips and Samsung blu-ray players. Relative to those two, this Sony seems a bit more reliable in terms of powering on/off and opening the disc tray. I stream Netflix a lot and this Sony does that pretty well. My only complaint on the unit is that it's sluggish to boot up and load Netflix or a blu-ray. And by "sluggish" I mean "power on and go fix yourself a drink". But for that fact, the video quality is good and once booted, it's pretty reliable.
Oh, and I like that it has an actual power light on the front - beware, not all of them do.

So I had an Onkyo 7.1 surround sound system prior to this sound bar. However, I got tired of the wires running everywhere and it always seemed like I had to crank the volume way up to hear voices very well, despite fiddling with every setting on the box.
Wanting to tidy up the TV room, I decided to look at some sound bars, not expecting the "movie experience" to be as good as the Onkyo. So here's what I like about this Samsung:
Bar itself is thin, and easily mounted to the wall or to some kind of bracket attached to the TV. It has several sound modes ("cinema", "news", etc.) so you can usually find one that sounds good for what you're watching. Subwoofer is wireless. Setup was very easy. Sound is really good and clear, and the subwoofer puts out nice bass (though I wish it was a little more). Bluetooth pairing was easy, and sound over that connection is terrific. Price was excellent!
What I don't like about it: Does not auto-power-on when the TV does, despite fiddling with all settings possible. Um, that's all I can think of. =)
So is it as good of a movie-listening experience as a 7.1 surround sound system? No. Does it sound pretty amazing considering it's one sound bar and one subwoofer? YES! And there's a lot less wires running everywhere. Would definitely recommend this.

There are a few versions of these headphones through the years and I'm not exactly sure where this one falls in the timeline. But there was a good price on them, and my brother had an older similar pair so I decided to try them. Wow! So I've lost count of the times where I've said to myself, "I've never even heard that part in this song I've heard a thousand times." There's so much depth to the music now... instrumentals and background vocals that are purposely really faint - you'll hear them now.
I also have a Bose Soundlink-something bluetooth speaker. They claim you should just leave the bass and treble alone when listening to it. I don't know what they say about the headphones, but I push the treble and bass up. These headphones can take it, where others would cr*p out on the low end.
Be aware there is a right and a left to these headphones and they mean it. I definitely get better sound when I put them on the right way. The speakers inside each earcup are angled a certain way.
Lastly, I wish the cord was a little longer - I mostly connect them to a computer that's, surprisingly, more than 1 foot away from my head. So an extra couple feet on the cord would have been great. Even so, it's a little longer than some cheapie headphones I've had.
These sound so great I wish I could listen to everything through them - even TV! Just not practical. Someone would easily mistake me for Princess Leia.
