A good headset for beginners.

First off let me begin by stating that I have had numerous headsets from Turtle Beach, and aside from one or 2 they all fit comfortably and worked to meet my standards for the price. Turtle beach is known to make reliable and good headsets and the customer service they have provided me makes up for any of the small issues I have encountered.
Now for the review. I bought this headset as a replacement for the stock one that came with the Xbox one. It fits large heads comfortably, there is no long messy wires that get in the way, nor do you need to hook anything up to your tv. The headset comes with a usb to plug into the side of your XBOX One and into the head of your controller. You need to do this because your controller will require an update. This may be an issue for people who do not have internet. After the controller is updated, simply unplug the usb from both the controller and the headset and add the volume control to the base of the controller. This is where you will control the volume for your headset, both game or chat. Maybe you don't want to use the headset for gaming, maybe you stream movies from the Xbox and want a better sound experience, or don't wish to wake up your partner or children. Excellent news, the microphone is removable. So you can store it safety when it is not in use.
There is a few cons that people reading this might want to be aware of, for one this runs off the battery in your controller. This obviously leads to your controller dying quicker and that can be expensive. Also, it isn't a very light headset and long term wear can be uncomfortable. Final quirk I noticed is a little bit of audio popping, but we can add that to dying batteries.
All that aside it is a solid product and one I do not regret purchasing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
