It's just like my Surface Pro 3, only smaller, lighter, and slower. This is really not a negative, as that is exactly what I wanted. It's really faster than I expected, it is totally fine for most workloads. The extra $100 for the upgraded RAM and storage is worth it to me. the S3 really is the best of the light Atom tablet/hybrids. The pen experience is as good as the SP3. Get this thing. S3 on the left, SP3 on the right.

I've have like 10 different gaming mice, this one is their master. More silly features than any other rat. Has an analog pedal just because it CAN. The lighting is super cool, and unlike the Corsair M65 RGB I bought just before this one, it actually WORKS. Super comfortable, but I have big paws and wanted a huge mouse, and this thing qualifies. The build quality is aces, feel super solid. The software is... busy but easier to use than the Corsair CUE for the RGB stuff. If you want the finest plus-sized over-engineered desk rodent on the planet, this is it.

Runs a full version of Windows 8.1. Can run the full Office Suite. I have Access installed via Office 365 on it right now.

What type of memory does the surface 3 use? Ssd?
there are many reviews stating it uses the slower memory emmc or whatever it is. At the microsoft store he said ssd and so did the best buy rep. Microsoft.com does not specify. I am believing the store reps right now but just want another confirmation

Does this support additional storage like in picture 4?
I don't see it specified, so does this Surface Tablet come with a slot for additional storage?
Absolutely. It has a MicroSD slot behind the kickstand. Can take a 128gb card. I have a 64gb in it presently.

money program
Can a money program be installed on the surface 3?
It's full blown 64-bit Windows 8.1, you can install anything on it. Quicken, QuickBooks, etc. They gave up on the oddball Windows RT OS that you could not install regular Windows apps on.

Which is better for me, a surface 2 or 3 tablet, or a 2 in 1 Surface 3?
I have studied so many different options in the Microsoft surface and microsoft surface pro line and am still confused. My main objective is to effortlessly handle powerpoint presentations professionally without having to stand near a computer. I would also like to take family pictures or videos. Lastly, I would like to handle emails, do business research, store files for my small business, and work while I'm on the go on airplanes and in hotels.
I have a regular PC and an old laptop at home with Windows 7 operating system, and I have an IPhone. I own Microsoft Office 365, so I do not have to have a computer that has all the Office programs already installed. I am trying to save money, but I do not want to cut myself short for creating, storing and presenting all my PowerPoint presentations. I may even start making webinars. Please help.

Your needs are fairly low horsepower-wise, so the Surface 3 would be fine. Using the Microsoft Miracast adapter your could stream the PowerPoint to a TV and walk around with the Surface 3. It's light enough to do that. The cameras are much better than on the old Surfaces, but still, no tablet has a really great camera. but will do for snapshots. Since you have Office 365, you have a ton of OneDrive space to store everything, and be able to access it across your devices. I'd get the 128gb/4gb one, get a 64gb microsd to store movies on for offline plane watching, and enjoy.

Is there a tablet I can buy now that is comparable to the Microsoft Surface 3 10.8 128 GB?
I noticed that I cannot buy the indicated model until May 5th, but I need a tablet or 2 in 1 right away. What would you recommend I buy for the needs expressed in my previous question. What about an IPad? Is it easier to deliver PowerPoint presentations with an IPad? Doesn't Ipad also have built in WiFi? What are advantages of having built-in WiFi when making presentations? Which model or brands give best full-size picture on large screen. Also, are all animations transferred to large screen as well? Please advise. I still have to be very economical.

Can you add this device to a network domain? Will it work with Citrix Receiver?
Citrix Receiver is fine. I run that on Windows 8.1 all the time. Now, the Surface 3 does NOT have Windows 8.1 Pro, so it cannot join an AD Domain out of the box, but you can do an in-place upgrade to Pro on it. Or just do an install of your volume licensed version. Surfaces are Microsoft Signature devices, there are NO extra nonsense apps or shovelware loaded on them, so installing a clean Windows doesn't lose you anything.
