The Good:
First off, if you're a Strobist or an off-camera speedlighter, sell everything you own and get these. The RF signaling system and fully independent group controls right from your master device will change everything for you. Already using RadioPoppers or a PocketWizard FlexTT system? Welcome to a new world of reliability, simple setup, and battery life.
Going into "Gr" mode on the master flash, I can independently tell up to five different groups to operate in full eTTL mode (plus adjust each group's FEC) OR shift one, some, or all groups into M mode with full power controls on each group. I do this right from the flash itself, or from the screen on my 5d mark III.

1: Size: The dimensions and weight of course matter; unless you don’t mind carrying around a brick the size of trailer. The iPhone 6 comes in at 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.27 inches & weighing in at 4.55 oz. which of course is a bit larger than my 5s. This should help out some of us with slightly larger hands, but still have a nice grip and feel for all around daily use, ease of navigation and just general accessibility.
2: RETINA HD DISPLAY: Having shatter proof glass is definitely necessary, unless you plan on keeping your iPhone 6 in the retail box- never holding it and making phone calls on speaker phone for the rest of your life. Yes, it’s upgraded from my old 5s Retina display to the RETINA HD DISPLAY! So why is it better you ask? With a Retina HD display, you better know the screen is delivering higher contrast and way better color accuracy, which all plays out as just an all around incredible display. Not to mention a bigger screen at 4.7’’ vs my iPhone 5’s 4.0’’ and higher resolution compared to the 5s, with the 750 x1334 (750p resolution) and a 1400 contrast ratio. Another added feature that is pretty slick is the dual-domain pixels for wider viewing angles, so when I’m showing my friend something, I don’t have to have to reach out and aim my phone directly in front of their face.
3: NFC support: Now apparently we will only be able to use NFC capabilities with Apple pay for now, which allows me to make touch-less payments in stores and stuff, which I think is incredibly cool and futuristic. Now I know some will complain as to why all the capabilities aren’t functional, and no one truly knows except for Apple, but apparently the particular NFC chip has more capabilities beyond just Apple Pay. Apparently at an Apple event, the watch unlocked a hotel room, so I guess these are just some of the possibilities that this particular NFC chipset holds. So even though I have to wait a bit to use the NFC fully, I’m sure the wait will be well worth it in the long run.
4: Speed: Using the Apple A8 chipset and a Dual Core 1.4 GHz Cyclone, compared to the iPhone 5’s 1.3 Ghz, we’re getting a speed boost to keep up with multi-tasking and if you’re like me constantly on your phone, working, gaming, and texting and have 100 apps open at the same time, then you know how much speed is a factor. Since it’s using the A8 chipset, this literally allows for 50% increased performance for graphics and 25% faster processing.

I just got everything connected! I spent about a half hour on the phone with Comcast support and was able to get the gateway setup with minimal issues. I was renting the exact same thing for $10 a month. People might worry about limited support if they are not renting, but Comcast is not going to leave you hanging unless the unit is completely dead. And to that note, I am an IT guy. I can tell you that you are rarely going to have a hardware issue with something like this. There are no moving parts, so save yourself some money if you have the triple play package. It will pay for itself in less than 2 years.
Now to address some of those reviews about a poor wireless signal. They are correct! My wireless gateway is in my basement, so I have connected my old router upstairs to extend the wireless range in my house. Before triple play, I had a separate modem with a Netgear router. It had a much stronger signal than the Arris modem has. This isn't all bad, and here's why. If you haven't figured it out yet, Comcast uses a portion of this router to broadcast their "xfinitywifi" hotspot for anyone to use if they are a current Comcast customer. Even though it is completely segregated from my internal network, I don't want every bozo in my neighborhood sucking up my bandwidth. It sort of reminds me of buying a car. The dealers plaster their names all over the back of the car without asking. I didn't get a good enough deal from any dealer to give them free advertisement, and I am not getting that great of a deal from Comcast to offer up a free hotspot. As a matter of fact, if it was in a spot for everyone in the neighborhood to use, I would build a faraday cage around it (Look that one up!!).
I am giving this gateway 4 stars for one main reason. Comcast has locked out the settings for the external DNS servers. They want you to use theirs (of course). Not a big deal to most people but prior to triple play, I was using OpenDNS for filtering out some of the garbage the internet has to "offer." There is a parental control option that you can turn on in the gateway, but it is terrible! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Comcast support told me there is no way to change it.
Anyway, I am looking forward to dropping my bill another $10 a month. I hope this review helps and don't be scared to drop the rental fee!!

his small, inexpensive antenna works surprisingly well in my urban location. I live in a center-city area with signals coming from several directions, and I had severe ghosting problems with my analog rabbit ears. I was prepared to buy a rotating medium directional rooftop antenna (per antenna.org recommendation for my location) when I decided to try this first- very glad I did. Before buying this item, I called SanDisc. They were very informative. I can take LONG videos with this card in HD! I wasn't familiar with all the different speed ratings for these cards but SanDisc did a great gob of telling me which card to use for my Veho Muvi camcorder. SanDisk makes three microSD cards. ExtremePro, Ultra and "regular". This is the Ultra. It is a Class 10 card. Some device manufacturers specify which class card to use for different results.

After researching around on the internet at several different companies. I have come to the conclusion that this product has a great price for the product.
