I bought this not realizing that it is an analog-only scanner. Scanners can pick up two kinds of frequencies, analog and digital. In the 2000s, an analog scanner was great, but now many police departments are changing over to digital and/or encrypted waves, rendering this product useless. It will be completely obsolete in a decade.

I loved the Monopoly Gamer version, and gave it 4 out of 5 stars in my review. However, the one problem I had with the game (and why I didn't give it a full 5 stars) was because of the parity between each character's abilities. The "expansion pack" figurines only make this worse.
In the original game, it is far easier to win this game while playing as Donkey Kong than it is with Yoshi just due to the nature of their "power-ups." Though I am appreciative the novelty of each character having specific nuances, I would've liked a little more of a fair playing field. However, the expansion pack characters are so powerful that it renders some of the original characters essentially as a handicap.
This game is still fun, and I still recommend getting the extra figurines because it does add a unique component to the game, but I'd recommend maybe choosing your character randomly, otherwise I imagine most gamers will fight over who gets Boo and Fire Mario and Toad.

I'm a fan of Nintendo characters, so this was appealing to me from the get-go, but as I researched this game, I found that the consensus was that this version had fixed many of the issues that bogged down the original version of Monopoly - namely, the hours it takes to play and the complexity of the rules.
This game takes away those issues and creates a truly fun experience. I bought this game and played it with my wife (who isn't a Monopoly fan) and my parents (who aren't Nintendo fans). Everybody had an enjoyable experience, and we ended up playing it two separate times in a 12-hour period. To me, that's a good game.
I docked this game 1 star because I felt that the character abilities were a little lopsided. For instance, it is far easier to win this game while playing as Donkey Kong than it is with Yoshi just due to the nature of their "power-ups." Though I am appreciative the novelty of each character having specific nuances, I would've liked a little more of a fair playing field. If you add the "expansion pack" figurines to the mix, then it compounds this problem quite a bit as the original characters from this game aren't nearly as powerful.

This is the best router I've had. My last Motorola from 2012 got much slower recently. I upgraded to this one and have not had any problems. My only gripe is that they now require your WiFi SSID to be 6 characters long. My wireless network that I've had for years and years is 5 letters long, so I had to update all of my individual devices to reflect the new SSID.

“Hey, Pikmin” is the most disappointing 3DS game I’ve played on this system. While this could’ve fared as a standalone game that didn’t boast the “Pikmin” label, this was just a poor excuse of filler.
The first problem with the game is that there is no strategy, whereas strategy is paramount to the other titles in the series. In this game, you have 8 worlds that are 6 levels each, and all you need to do is find the exit. It doesn’t matter how many Pikmin you lose, it doesn’t matter if you find secret paths or items or not, it all counts the same in the end.
To be fair, you also have to earn what is called “Sparklium” which are, more or less, no different than any other game currency. You have to find 30,000 before beating the game. In an 8-world game, I achieved the Sparklium you need without even stepping foot in World 6. For the last 3 worlds of the game, I had no incentive to do anything but just beat the level.
On top of this, the mechanics of this game are infuriating. Often, the DS wouldn’t read where I was trying to fling a Pikmin and would send him flying to his death, or other times, it would fling a Pikmin when I was trying to press the jetpack button instead. There were times I had to pause the game and put the console down to just breathe.
At the end of the game, it doesn’t matter if you kept 50 Pikmin alive or 50,000. It’s all the same in the end, and doesn’t help you to keep them alive. Also, the Pikmin’s “strength,” which was a crucial part of past games, does nothing here. Yes, they bud flowers like normal, but their strength is negligibly different.
Lately, Nintendo fans have been crying and moaning about the way Nintendo ignores and disrespects their fans. “Hey, Pikmin” is the punctuating mark on Nintendo’s laissez-faire attitude towards its fans.
