Sturdy and allows flexible positions

This is my second wall mount. I bought the identical one for my son's room in January to free up some dresser top space in his room. It was mounted near the corner and in a way that it lays flat to the wall with a slight down angle when he is in bed and then is able to swing away from the wall and angle towards his desk when he is there. It worked so well that I did the same in our room and bought the identical mount.
I used a stud finder to locate a stud to attach to. It must be fastened to a stud or to a concrete block or other solid wall. Expansion anchors into sheet rock will not work because of the weight. The hardware is included for both mounting it to the wall as well as many different lengths and diameters of screws needed to mount the TV to the swing arm plate. You will have a lot of extra screws left over.... don't worry. This does require assembly but the directions were clear with good pictures to guide you.
I looked at a lot of these before choosing this one and know I made the right choice. It is not the cheapest of its kind but in this case the little extra money was well spent for quality.
A couple of closing remark. If you do not need the adjustability of a mounting solution then a flat wall mount that just tilts up and down may work for you. They usually cost less and are probably easier to mount to the wall. Beware that some cables, especially HDMI and RG-5 are not very flexible. Depending on how your cables plug into you TV it may be a little cramped in relation to the wall. If your cables attach vertically there is probably not a problem. If they attach horizontally out the back then there may be. A quick look before you get one will save you time and frustration. I like this one because my son will constantly be plugging things like game consoles and cameras in and out of the TV and all he has to do is swing it out, make the connections and swing it back. Hope this helps.

Good Product - Instructions need work

Paid top dollar for this screen protector because I have used Zagg products in the past as well as others and I like Zagg the best. I took away 1 star because of the generic instructions and confusion I had with which side is appled to the face of the device. This product has a removable facing on both sides and a simple indicator of which side is which would save time and confusion (for me at least). The insturctions were also unclear in that you must peel BOTH of the temporary facings off BEFORE you apply it to the device. If you apply it to the device first and then try to peel off the top surface protector afterwords, it will release it from the device as you try to peel it off. The instructions say something vague about "If your product has.....". At the price of this protector a product specific clearly written instruction sheet should not be an unreasonable request. It may have well been me not understanding it but I don't think so. Just be sure you read and understand the application method before you begin.

Apple Product - Great Display

It's an Apple so that speaks for itself. For media like netflix and youtube and the like the retna display is stunning. Also good for internet and network steaming with its dual band N capability. My home network allows it on the 5.0 GHZ band and it shows a definate speed difference from the 2.4 GHZ band. Wish it was AC compatable but that will probably be the next gen.
The price is no bargin but not too out of line (see first line of this review). This was purchased for my son and I thought the Nexus 10 was a better device but he has an Apple Ipod & Iphone and he didn't want an unfamiliar os, so Ipad it was.
