A great gift for both my son and I. He is 7 and I am 30, and we both can have and do have a blast playing. I strongly urge anyone who buys to get a glass screen protector as well.
Journey to a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the PlayStation 4. You play as an iconic Star Wars character as you wield a lightsaber to do battle, and you fight on battlefields from all three trilogies. Pair up with a friend for offline play in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
But not so great of a shooter? It's hard to say how much my opinion is affected by the fact that I'm not very good at this game. Either way, it is enjoyable enough. A big step up from Battlefront 1. Space battles are amazing.
Take on a new adventure with Sora in Kingdom Hearts Remix for the PlayStation 4. With six titles in one, this video game lets you explore other worlds with Donald Duck and Goofy to help Sora find his friends. With Kingdom Hearts Remix, you can also play mini games online with friends for even more fun.
It is hard to be fair and balanced considering my nostalgia for these games rides high. If you liked the originals, you're going to love these. Great remasters, minus some tiny framerate issues I've hardly noticed.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Although it shares the universe of the original trilogy, the title is considered a game derived, not the fourth episode of the saga.
I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect trilogy, but I simply can't get over how glitchy, janky, and terribly put together this game is. The combat is fun...I'll give it that. But don't expect any kind of immersion. The glitches and poor animations pull you right out of the experience.
Survive in an incredibly creepy planation mansion in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Photorealistic gaming has been taken to a new level for a terrifyingly tense atmosphere that's up close and personal, thanks to compatibility with Sony's PlayStation VR. White-knuckle gameplay and revamped mechanics ensure that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is one game you cannot miss.
I made it 2 hours into this game before I gave up and sold it. However, I want to be clear that while the game didn't do much for ME, I can easily see how others could love it. The graphics are really great (once you get inside), but more important...this game is scary and creepy. I highly suggest you play this at night with the lights off. In fact, I challenge you to do so.
Unfortunately, the battle system was a bit of a bore. I would've rather no fighting, or very limited. Keep it to the puzzles and exploration. After the first time dying, I stared at the Continue screen and after 10 seconds of staring decided this just wasn't for me. The fighting was slugging it all down, and I was getting a bit of a headache every time I played because of first-person view. Again---this is very particular to me, and I can see how others could love this game.
Revisit your favorite gaming scenes and moments in KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue for PlayStation 4. Retelling the story of Sora and Riku, the game includes action from KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance and features a new HD movie. KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue offers a new playable episode that connects to the 3rd installment.
Coming into this, I'd only ever played Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2. I found myself regularly confused about all the spinoffs, prequels, etc. Therefore, I'm grateful for this release. It takes many of these said games and puts them neatly into one package. In only a short period of time, I've finished almost all the games and must say it really brings back memories of the Kingdom Hearts world as a whole. The battle system is still fun, the characters entertaining, and the story top notch.
