Honestly, the price was not a factor in my decision. Reviews for this item were good. I bought this for my 7yo daughter; the fall height was a bit shorter than I had hoped, but being an engineer, the construction of the fall protection was sound. 2nd decision point was the bright color, to make it more noticeable, and less likely to be left somewhere. 3rd, the price was good, since it was on sale. Very satisfied.

The price of ink for my previous HP multi printer was so pricey that it justified just buying a new printer. I could not be happier with it. It prints much faster than I'm used to. The automatic document feed (whether you are doing single- or double-sided) always works with no issues. The touch display is easy to understand and laid out well. The WiFi function, as I use it, has no time delay. Great quality printing. It has a closed paper drawer, which I love; no need to clean dust off of the paper before printing! I scan constantly into pdf; the user interface for scanning can make or break the ease of use, and my desire to use the function. The interface is designed better than I've EVER experienced. You have the ability to scan in a simple manner, or in a mode that lets you fine-tune the resolution (dpi) etc. You are also able to set your own profiles (settings). Truly outstanding job by Epson.

I've been using this product for several weeks now, and cannot be happier. The cooling capacity is phenomenal; it works for my bedroom (maybe 15' x 12') extremely well, and I sometimes use it (in conjunction with a fan) to help cool my kids' bedroom.
*For a 10,000 BTU unit, with a higher amperage motor/compressor, the price could not be beat by its competitors.
*The remote control is very convenient.
*It cools my bedroom off very quickly.
*The louvers on the air discharge oscillate vertically, such that cool air is discharged towards the ceiling as well as towards the floor.
*The Owner's Manual is clear and concise.
*Setup (the exhaust out of the window) and operation of the unit is very simple.

I must admit I had some sticker shock at the price; it got excellent reviews, so I decided to purchase. Great decision! The bagel function works as described. The '2 toasters in one' is perfect. The controls are easy to use. Both light/dark dials on this toaster work in such a way, that if the left dial & right dial are set on the same #, the degree of toasting is the same on either side. It is very sturdy and looks great in the kitchen. If you need to do consecutive toasting on one side or the other, the degree of toasting remains consistent (older toasters worked fine for the first piece of toast, but would not toast to the same degree for consecutive pieces of bread).

I use the ComCast X1 platform. My intent was to wirelessly stream content into my kid's bedroom. The distance between transmitter and receiver was not far (<20 feet), and it included two corners. The picture on the television froze up continuously, necessitating a re-start of the cable box, transmitter, and receiver; the picture would freeze every 5-10 minutes, rendering this product absolutely useless. I exchanged the original one for another, with the same results. It was returned. Its competitors are no better; I've tried them.

I don't routinely travel internationally, but when I do, this product will be going with me. Everything I need is included in a convenient travel pouch. The transformer is a bit bulky & heavy, and sometimes falls out of the wall socket; that can quickly be propped up with a phone book or something. The 'low/high' wattage button is a big seller for me. I can charge my iPhones or run a hair dryer using the same product. Thats great. I just bought a second one for another upcoming trip!
What's great about it: Covers most countries with included adapters; convenient carrying bag
What's not so great: The transformer is a bit bulky and heavy

Does this unit need a drainage hose or is there a bucket?
If the unit is run on the 'DRY' (dehumidifier) setting, the Owner's Manual says to attach a drain hose if the unit is run on a constant basis. If the unit is run in the 'COOL' mode (air conditioner), the moisture is vented right out the window.
In any event, the unit is equipped with a 0.5 Liter (or maybe a 1 Liter) internal reservoir to catch condensation; the reservoir is VERY easily drained through a port on the rear; the port is small, so it drains a bit slower to prevent a deluge of water pouring out (I drain it using a 2 Liter soda bottle to catch the condensation). FYI, if the reservoir becomes filled, the unit automatically shuts off, and displays 'FL' (full) on the digital display.

Does the condenser cut off based on time or temperature? Anotherwards, will it cut off before it reaches cool temperature, thus taking it longer to cool down room
The compressor operates based on temperature; you set the desired temperature, and it operates until the room temp. is reached. The unit does have a nice timer function. This unit cools off my bedroom (maybe 15' x 12') extremely quickly.

Will this work with vertical Windows and is it easy to install ?
Yes, this will work with either vertical or horizontal window configuration. The exhaust discharge tube is easily installed in the window with the hardware. Much like one of those window fans with the expandable 'accordion' things, the plastic hardware fits in the window easily, can expand to accommodate a large number of windows, and comes with a screw to hold the exhaust tube in place, at the desired length.

I own this toaster, and just looked at the plug in the kitchen. The plug is polarized (one prong larger than the other), but it IS NOT a 3-prong.

USB Wall Charger
Does the USB Wall Charger product need to be used with a separate International Converer kit or does the USB Wall Charger kit with the USB actually include the converter for that? I don't want to fry my ipad or iphone and want to make sure I do this correctly in Italy! Help...
I recently went to Sweden. You should check the charger to be sure, but I believe it accepts 120 VAC (US power supply), as well as other international power supplies (typically 240 VAC). All I needed was the adapter with the two cylindrcal prongs; no transformer needed. The USB wall charger automatically converted it to the correct voltage.
