I gave this a "Good" review as it does serve it's purpose yet it is chrome color steel verses being the same color as the machine. It leaves a small opening between the washer and dryer which will be difficult to dust. Our old machine sat directly on top of each other and this one the feet fit into the stacking kit leaving that opening I speak of. Doesn't look as sleek as the machines that it stacks upon yet does work well. It's screwed directly into the machine with two screws in the back and does work well that way. The only reason I will say I am recommending this stacking kit to a friend is that it was the only one that we could find so if you want to stack your machines, this is the choice.

We purchased this washer approx. 1.5 months ago along with the dryer and find that it's great and meets all our washing needs. The machine is super quiet. It does have what can only be described as a "hissing" sound when the water is being pumped into the clothes but is normal. The spin speed is great. The "Turbo Spin" cycle is fantastic for getting almost all the water from large loads of towels, jeans, etc.. For more delicate clothes I would not recommend the Turbo Spin cycle as it will twist some clothes. When I found the proper cycle for the specific load I had in the machine, this problem was corrected. The "Direct Drive" is fantastic as it makes it more quiet. This machine does adjust itself before spinning as to not have lopsided spinning. The chime at the end of the washing cycle can be turned to high, medium, low or off. I found that low was great. The machine lights up at the end of its washing and chiming to allow you to see the clothes in the tub while taking them out and not forgetting anything in it. I had a Whirlpool washer prior to this one and as with all these washer types, you "should" wipe out the front glass and seal after each use so as to minimize any possible mold that could accumulate. I myself even remove the Soap, Softener, Bleach tray and wipe that out as I learned with my Whirlpool that mold DOES grow eventually if this is not done. This is minor for me, but some may not enjoy doing it. The front door should remain OPEN after use until fully dried out and this machine has a magnetic thing that holds the door very close to the machine verses swinging openly as with our old Whirlpool. I had forgotten how fresh clothes can smell until I got this new one. This machine does have a drain cabinet in the lower bottom left corner which has it's own little hose that pulls out and a filter which should be cleaned out about every 3 to 6 months depending on it's usage. There is always a little water that remains in the soap dispenser which the manual says is normal and that is why I take the extra moment to empty and wipe dry to avoid that mold issue that could develop. It uses very little water yet certainly enough for extremely clean clothes. I love the way the water sprays into the machine from both sides verses just one area as with our old machine. I downloaded the manual before purchasing to "learn" before I chose to buy. The drawback of "Stacking" this washer is that the stacking kit is simply a silver metal bracket. It works but when the washer is on the spin cycle, the dryer WILL shake a bit. This would not be a problem if this machine isn't stacked. The hoses that come with the washer are only 4 feet so if you are not close to your water source you will need to purchase a longer one as we had to do.

Bought this one about a 1.5 months ago and have been pleased so far. There were no reviews on this model before we purchased it. Being a "Sensor" dryer sometimes the machine assumes the load is dry yet it remains damp. We had the same with our old Whirlpool yet when you place it on the "More Dry" setting verses the default "Normal" it dries perfectly with those large loads adding only a minor amount of drying time and energy used. The "Steam Fresh" cycle is absolutely wonderful for getting wrinkles out of clothes that have been folded or hung for long periods of time. The "Steam Sanitary" cycle is wonderful for making clothes Allergen Free as we have needed in the past for medical reasons. It is extremely SILENT! The one drawback for me is that the machine "Defaults" every time you use it to the "Cotton/Normal" cycle and since we use another all the time, this is not optimal - however it does have a program button that can be pushed using your own desired drying time so I got around it this way. The color is beautiful and looks good even if in a large open room or in a kitchen as we have ours. Classy look. This machine does have a sensing light that lights up when you have forgotten to empty the lint tray from the previous load and that does work well. The 3 manual cycles are great for your own desired times of drying.

Hello, Will this stacking kit work with washer: WM3050CW and with dryer: DLEX3370W? These units are both white. Will the chrome stacking kit show? Do I need additional rear clearance to accommodate the stacking kit? Thanks!
You don't need more clearance in the back to use this stacking kit but it is chrome and is very visible taking away the look of your machine. That's what I don't like about it yet it does work well. I don't know if it would fit your model but would recommend calling the maker and inquiring. Hope this helped a bit. The color is what I don't like about it myself as it IS visible.
