With a remote like this, being able to control and do so much, my mind immediately goes to a product that is bulky. Not this guy! This remote is super tiny when you compare it similar universal remotes on the market. To give you a frame of reference, it is approximately the same size of an Apple TV remote. I've been using the Apple TV remote for several years so the Sevenhugs remote wasn't much of a shock for me as it has been for others. I personally like the smaller form factor.
This is touted as a universal remote that will pair with more than 650k devices. In other words, its for everything in your home. I currently have 5 connected devices - including an Apple TV, Nest Thermostat, Philips Hue, Sonos speakers and Spotify. Setup is pretty simple. Download the app from either Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store on Android devices and follow the prompts. Incredibly easy and super simple.
Universal remote functionality is awesome. It gives you full control to completely adapt the technology to your own personal preferences - one touch access. Its a great concept but certainly not perfect and needs some improvement considering the price tag (currently on sale at BestBuy.com). I suppose that is where the hardware but integrated software comes into play with the ability the push new experiences and improvements. A lot like a smart phone in a lot of ways - evolving with updates and improving over time. That way you're not stuck with the same product you bought on day one. Technology is moving at such a rapid pace that its only fitting that that would be the case.
Its a good product. Definitely something that's needed and would be very much utilized.

Shark APEX LZ602 Bagless Upright Vacuum is a multi-purpose uptight corded bagless vacuum that would be a really good option for anyone who is looking for a vacuum cleaner that is easy to use and capable enough to access the hardest to reach areas in your home.
From a design perspective its packed with a ton of features including duoclean technology, anti hair wrap brush, anti allergen filtration system and hypervelocity suction. Which pretty much equates to a lot more power than other vacuums this size has. I think the duo clean technology is the best invention in the vacuum world in quite some time. It's basically a soft roller and a standard brush roll combined in the same cleaner head. It picks up just about every thing it touches on carpet or hard floors. The soft roller is amazing for the finest dust up the largest debris on hard floors.
All this is packed into a very light and maneuverable 10.7 lbs unit. Comparable units weigh in at nearly 16 lbs. I suppose it really is the top of the vacuum food chain as the name "APEX" suggests.

I wanted to get a decent amount of use out of the headphones before submitting my review. After having owned previous devices, I'm actually disappointed with the earbud design entirely. There are certain aspects of the design which I find so puzzling. For example, why wouldn't they make the ear tips replaceable? Or why wouldn't they make the ear tips noise canceling so that the user could get better noise isolation? Expect to turn your volume all the way up in noisy settings.
My first impression of the Marshall - Minor II Bluetooth Wireless In-Ear Headphones is "Meh".

If you’ve got a gigabit Ethernet plan, then you’ve got a great reason to think about using a modem/router combo like the ARRIS Surfboard SBG8300. And if you have several high-bandwidth devices connecting to your network, then you’ll be able to appreciate a lot of the speed advantages for certain.
The Good:
1. Installation was a breeze.
2. Xfinity Voice works with no issues
3. I have a 3000 Sq. Ft. house and internet coverage has been good.
4. No sign of heat issues that some others have reported.

I purchased a TV and needed better sound. I also read all the reviews that said the clarity of people talking is better using this speaker, which is what we were really looking for. Here is the review.
Pro:The best clarity occurs when you activate the speaker into the voice enhanced or dialog mode by pressing a special button on the remote. As stated in other reviews, it makes a very positive enhancement in clarity of all voices on all programs. But there is a catch that you should be aware of.
Con: The enhanced clarity dialog mode stays active only as long as you are watching at that particular time. Which means that if you turn off the TV, the speaker reverts back to the normal audio mode which is much less enhanced. Additionally, if you set the speaker in auto sense mode, where it comes on by itself when it notices you have turned the TV on, you still need to find the remote for the speaker and activate the enhanced audio mode by pressing the special dialog button every time. If the TV has only been off a short time, then the speaker won't revert to normal mode. But if its off for any longer than an hour, it will always revert to the standard sound mode. Our hearing is not good so we would much rather have the speaker stay in the enhanced audio function every time.
I called Bose customer care at 800-792-7197 ext 54464 and they confirmed the speaker does reset every time. They said most of their other systems stay in the mode you put it in and don't revert. They said if enough people call and ask them to adjust this, they will consider a firmware update to allow it to stay in dialog mode if you put it there. (there is a usb port on the back of the speaker and the tech said that the speaker could get a firmware update in that manner if they choose to create one)

Overall the speaker has very good mid range sound and decent bass as well, but you should be aware that for the enhanced dialog voice mode you will need to have the speaker remote handy to activate it each time or else you will get the standard sound. As a note, I was not able to get my learning remote to "learn" the dialog button frequency and assign it to a button.
On the other hand, if you want to call Bose and ask them to consider providing the option to keep the enhanced dialog mode active until you want to shut it off, give them a call on the number above. Hope that helps.

I held off buying the 2015 version for a year because I was concerned about the size (12 inches almost seeming too small for a laptop), the new keyboard, a single port, and the capabilities of the Core M processor as opposed to an i5 that comes standard in the MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros. So, this is a review written by someone who's owned, multiple PC's, a 2015 13" MacBook Air, and a 2015 13" MacBook Pro.
First of all, I'll address the keyboard. I had tapped on it in the Apple store a few times and wasn't exactly impressed. Coming from the phenomenal keyboards of the MacBook Air & Pro, it seemed to different. However, after using it for the last few days, I have to say it feels amazing to type on. While you don't get the travel that you do in a MacBook Air or Pro, you do get a satisfying *click* from each keystroke.
Second is the trackpad. If you've used the 2015 MacBook Pro, you know that the Force Touch trackpads keep the incredible accuracy and satisfyingly smooth glass finish of older MacBooks, but with a much improved clicking mechanism that allows you to "click" anywhere on the trackpad easily. The MacBook continues that awesome tradition.
Third is the screen. Like the new MBP's, this computer has the Retina screen which is gorgeous to look at. It's plenty bright, and the thin bezels really make it feel like the screen is larger than it is.
Fourth is the processors. I'd heard that the 2015 Core M's were a little weak, but the 2016 model I purchased (256GB / Core M3 configuration) performs almost as good as my 2015 MBP with a Core i5 processor. I've opened programs such as PhotoShop, iTunes, Word and others with little to no lag, and I'm able to open 10 tabs easily with active webpages.
Fifth is the battery life. I'd been concerned about the 2015 models because they only had 9 hours of battery life, but the 2016 versions have bumped that up to a solid 10, and so far I've been able to achieve that number while web-surfing with about 70% screen brightness which is about perfect for indoor usage.
Sixth is the single port. I expected this to be a turn off, but the truth is I've barely noticed it. I did purchase a dongle which would allow me to plug a USB 3.0 into the computer, but in 2016 I rarely need to do anything like that with my ultraportable laptop like this one. Most peripherals like printers, mice, iPhones, etc...can connect via blue-tooth or other wireless means, so Apple was actually kind of smart in setting it up this way. Would an extra port be nice? Sure. But it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
Summary: So, if it isn't clear by now, I love this laptop. But, you need to know what it IS useful for and what it ISN'T useful for. This, in my opinion, is a great secondary laptop. I use it as a mobile platform to avoid lugging around my much heavier MacBook Pro. It doesn't have multiple ports, it doesn't have a super-strong processor, and it isn't going to suit your needs if you're a power user.
But if all you're looking for is something to be ultra-mobile and perform almost as good as a regular laptop, then it is perfect. I use it mostly in class to take notes on, surf the web, type papers, do a little light-editing of photos, listen to music, and things like that.
If that's what you're looking for, and you can afford the price, then I say it is very worth it.
P.S.- the speakers are phenomenal. Hands down the best in the Apple laptop lineup.

Objectively the greatest comic book film ever made

You can read lots of reviews of Watchmen, people either love it or hate it. If you love it - and I do - this is the set to get.
It not only has the Blu-Ray, and the DVD, and an entire Blu-Ray of extras... it also has the entire motion comic of the Black Freighter, as well as being the cut of the movie which has the Black Freighter inserted into the movie.
You also get the hardcover collectible graphic novel, and the digital copy of the movie.
I was skeptical whether the digital copy would be usable, this is a several year old re-release (I assume what we're purchasing is back stock) and the code says it expired in 2014. It did not - the process was a little clunky because I had to use Flixster, but it ported to my Ultraviolet account (and was hence watchable in Vudu) with no problems whatsoever.
When I saw the original cut in the theaters, I liked it (except for the "Halleleujah" scene); most people didn't share my opinion and I still considered the original graphic novel to be vastly superior, but I still liked it. A few years later I saw the Director's Cut, which is three hours long; I thought this version was WAY better (except for the "Halleleujah" scene) and I began recommending it to people again. Someone pointed out the "Ultimate Cut" on this version, which somehow incorporated the Black Freighter scenes from the GN; I bit the bullet and picked up the CE.
Turns out the Ultimate Cut is by far my favorite version of this movie (except for the "Halleleujah" scene): the scenes have enough time to breathe and revel in the period details; there's legitimately poignant footage added (I'm thinking of That Scene with Hollis); and my regard for Patrick Wilson's performance increases every time I watch this movie. I still think the movie is distinctly inferior to the GN, but the 3.5 hour cut of this movie is the best cinematic realization of this story we're ever likely to see. There are also bonus features which flesh out the world in interesting ways that aren't as engaging as I'd hoped (I'm thinking specifically of the faux Hollywood Tonight feature about the original Nite Owl book) but are still worth watching if you're curious to see everything this world has to offer. And I still maintain that people should definitely do that, because good as the GN or not, this is still a movie people should definitely see.

Overall, a very nice phone that punches well above its weight and truly does 90% of what flagships can do for an eighth of the cost. If you want a phone for decent multitasking for daily tasks, while you're on the move, look no further. I got used to the qHD res pretty fast and for most purposes it's way more than livable, thanks to decent colors, brightness, and viewing angles. If you want to consume lots of video.. until Google gets Chromecast working with a direct LTE connection, maybe go with a Nexus 6. For the money though, this is a way smarter iPhone 4S alternative.

Quality good but difficult application

Let me start by saying I have a Zagg screen protector on 3 phones including 2 iPhones. I have had Zagg screen protectors on my last several phones because they are great. This cover, however, is a different story. The application process is easy on paper but more difficult to actually do. The screen protector is hard to align correctly due to the fact that you can't really see the lines on it. Once it's on you can't really adjust it so you have to get it right. This is on my wife's watch and it has now started lifting on the edge. She loves it but has said multiple times she has had to put it back on one corner because it lifts up. She has contacted Zagg and we are waiting for information from them. At this time I will give it a 2⭐️ but will update later if something changes.

Not that the genre has ever really gone out of style or ever will, but the last year has seen a number of movies on artificial intelligence. Even the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron deals with evil robots turning on their masters. We get it; the robots will all eventually kill us but can't it be done in a way that we haven't seen before? Can't we be entertained before the robots destroy us? Ex Machina, which marks the directorial debut by 28 Days Later, Never Let Me Go, and Sunshine writer Alex Garland, is exactly the film we've been waiting for. A haunting and thrilling look at technology taken to the ultimate degree, it will make you look at every other movie about artificial intelligence in a whole new way.
