Compact, stainless steel microwave looks great!

I am very pleased with my new Sharp microwave! It is compact and fits nicely on my countertop. It is spacious on the inside and fits a large plate (my plates are square and do not even bump the sides of the microwave while on the carousel). The stainless steel adds a contemporary touch to my kitchen and is easy to wipe off. The 30-second button is great for smaller food items, and the 1-minute, 2-minute (and so on) buttons are convenient. Only drawback: the light only turns on inside the microwave when it is in use, and the clear film on the outside of the entire microwave is a bit difficult to remove.

Can you easily see thru the glass at what you are cooking?

Yes - when the microwave is in use, you can easily see what is cooking inside. It has a nice, bright bulb. When the microwave is not in use, it is not as easy to see inside - the glass has a gray/black dot pattern.
