I got this smart watch for the obvious tech reasons and syncing with my Samsung phone in a form factor I like for a watch. It is an accurate step tracker. However it doesn't record me climbing stairs at home from basement to main floor - this past weekend I went up and down stairs at least 30 times and it didn't record any. Upon googling, I read that it determines stairs from change in atmospheric pressure. I never had issue with fit bit or wife's apple watch recording stairs. That's my only complaint.
