Fell apart removing from packaging

One of the two earpieces literally fell apart upon removing the earbud from the case. I was able to connect them and the sound was above average for a earbud of this class. The method of securing the Ear Bud may be uncomfortable for some users.

I was excited about this product before testing it. I have three canary cameras and would like to have a similar cloud product for outside camera positions. I do have experience with fixed wired outside units and a dvr. It can be very expensive to have outdoor surveillance camera installed in your home or business. One must handle the power, network and mounting issues. This system is wireless, has a decent battery life and is easy to mount due to their size and a nicely designed magnet mount. The camera immediately uploads 10 second or so video streams to the cloud and one can view, download or share these streams easily via the app or a browser interface.
One of the two cameras that came that came with the system would not sync to the base unit. After 20 minutes of troubleshooting, a 15 minute wait on hold and a 10 minute call it was determined by Netgear tech support that the case needed to be elevated to the next level of support. Later that day I received an email suggesting an RMA with options include me shipping the camera and waiting, a swap (they ship camera in a week or so and I ship mine back anytime (cost) or an expedited ship (extra cost). All three of these options are unacceptable to someone who just bought an expensive system and wasted a hour getting it to not work. Netgear needs to realize that when they charge more for a products (Arlo pro or high end router) a higher level of service is expected. They do not need to become Apple but this is not a $79 router purchase.
The single working camera seems to have a good battery life and takes OK clips. As usual with outdoor cameras, one must be mindful of the position of the sun and night lighting as you can easily have issues with contrast or false alarms. I did not ideally position the camera but did it place by two different entrances and let it run for a couple of days. The video quality and motion activation were both disappointing especially compared with my wired sony units. One time the motion detectioin missed first part of the approach of someone to the door and another time there were artifacts in the video (blocks and stuttering) both of which obscured the face of the potential intruders.
Perhaps with firmware upgrades, perfect positioning and ideal wireless conditions these camera could be serious security cameras but I was quite disappointed in the product.

Glimpse at the future

Remember clippy? Remember Siri? finally digital assistants are becoming useful. Google has a huge advantage if you are a user of their services (search, Gmail, calendar etc) as their answers are much more intelligent. The speaker is small has a touch surface which in addition to the voice responses gives fast feedback and control. The sound quality is just below a Sonos play 1.

The Pixel is the first no compromise Android phone. Great screen (OLED higher resolution than Iphone) with good calibration, fast processor, hardware/software optimization, no unwanted Android add ons, monthly security updates (not when apple or verizon decide it is in their interests to patch), 2 years of Android updates, split screen, plenty of RAM, free full resolution backup of photos and videos, extra help without paying for apple care plus, fast charging (without overheating), great battery life, near instant fingerprint sensor (on the back where it should be). great size and weight. More cost effective than apple, easier setup and backup, great GPS, pedometer, and the new iteration of google assistant is the future of AI. Just buy and swap SIMS card and enter google password and you can upgrade in minutes.

Nice style but a little tight on neck and heavy. Best voice quality I am hear with headset. Mike on right and makes noise if you leave that side out if ear. Music a bit muddy on my 6P. Not a big leap fromy LG set.
