I finally broke down and bought a GPS again. I hadn't cared for the other two I've tried over the years but I was going on a trip where the directions were difficult. I'm glad I got this one.
Where to start, the size of the screen is great, not too big but big enough to easily see while still watching the road. I like the split screen when coming to your exit so you know you have the correct one. It shows shopping, banks, food, lodging and gas along your route. It's very easy to use and once you've entered something, it will show up faster the next time you are looking. I love voice command that allows me to add to my route (such as deciding to stop for a bite) easily. While it does take the voice command a bit to understand you, you and it learns to work together. If you ask for a place, such as Best Buy, it will give you a list, showing how far and the direction of the store. It's great.
I like that it tracks your speed so you become aware if your speed is creeping up and it also shows the time you should arrive at your destination.
This model not only does what I tell it to, it also does what I want it to. As I said above, I Love It.

Good for travel and as a spare

I have this as a spare laptop for when company comes. With teenagers running in and out and staying over, it has come in handy. It is very basic but allows the kids to get on-line easily. It is inexpensive yet delivers. It is not a working computer in my opinion but is good for those who just want to get e-mails, web surf or get on social media.

Windows 8 will drive me to drink and so makes this a less than excellent experience. It is difficult to just X out of programs. Also, it is a bit too sensitive for me. The slightest wobble and it is changing positions which can be a pain if you are not sitting up straight. It will at times make me use touch rather than the keyboard and I still have not figured out why. It may be the touchpad which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
That's the negative. I do like that it is lightweight and changes into a tablet. It is easy to take with me whenever I leave the house. As I've gotten used to the touch screen, it has become easier to use.
While I wouldn't recommend this as a main computer, as a travel one, or one to take with you to use while waiting at appointments, it is good and reasonably priced.

Will this speaker be loud enough for parties in an apartment/dorm room setting?
The sound was loud enough to reach through closed doors in our home so I would say, yes, definitely loud enough.

Does this have a Bluetooth feature to connect my phone or iPad?
Yes, my 18 year old had not problems hooking up their phone.
