Purchased this over two months ago for an older car that doesn't have a 1/8" input for external digital music source. We inserted this into the cassette player, and voila, we can play music over the car stereo system from our cell phones, iPods etc. This is highly recommended.

Purchased two 5-port chargers, one for each car. I don't typically review a purchase until it's been in use for at least a month, because what's the point of telling the reader that it arrived on time and looks good? After two months of use, I am happy to report that the chargers still work perfectly and seem to be very durable. We have had up to three devices plugged in simultaneously, with no problems. I doubt we will ever need to use all five ports at the same time. The 5- foot cord allows for convenient placement of the charger. I used a little velcro to hold the charger in place between the front seats, but with the long cord, I can easily place the chargers in the back seat area for the convenience of my back seat drivers. Highly recommended.

One of the best things that I can say is that the drive works as advertised. Was originally purchased to backup my computer files before replacement of the internal drives, now using it for routine backup of four home computers. I have four other WD external hard drives of varying ages and capacity in use, and they are easy to use and reliable. For this reason, I will continue to rely on WD for my storage needs.

Yes, as long as the cd player will accept a 1/8" mini plug.
