I opted to upgrade from 6ft. Cat-5 to Insignia 4ft. Cat-6 cables - reasonable size for a reasonable price, these cables take up less space and the superior insulation of the Cat-6 construction blocks extraneous signals from other sources for better movie streaming.

Yes but it lights up when the microwave is in use but not when the door is open - this probably extends the life of the bulb.
