It tracks daily steps and weekly steps along with calories burned. You create a playlist on your computer first and then when you go to set up your watch it will show those playlists you created and you can choose to add them or not. You can only add the playlists through the TOmTom site you set up.

Yes it will track both but requires an additional piece to be placed on your bike if its stationary or if it's a spinning bike. I still use it when I'm spinning because it will at least tell me how long I ride for, what my Heart rate is and how many calories I burned. Plus it logs it on the app when you sync your watch so you can track your workouts.
