This is a very fitting end of the journey to Middle Earth. The Hobbit was enlarged to 3 epic films on the scale of the Ring Trilogy by including pre-prequel events from the appendices to the printed Ring (and the Silmarillion according to one item I read). The production standards are of the highest order. The photography, the sound quality, the script (of course, they had an excellent source), the special effects, and even the acting, are all on a very high order. Tolkien and the audience are both served extremely well. Highly recommended!

The fluid cleans fingerprints and smudges off the lens completely. The microfiber cloth doesn't damage the lens sensitive multicoating; just be sure to shake the dust out first to protect the lens. The brush is on the small side, but it gets the job done, and its small size works very well with viewfinders.

Since the 1st installment of The Hobbit needed to set the context for the planned sequels, it moved at a deliberate pace. It enwhroduced us to the major characters, introduced the overall story line, etc. That is not to say it was dull; it was not. It had a good plot, quite a bit of humor, and, like the LotR trilogy, gorgeous photography. All of these are present in the 2nd installment of The Hobbit. But now, the action picks up, with Orc battles and chases galore, elves finally showing us why they got a reputation in the first 2 ages of middle earth, and a dragon that is truly what we expect a dragon to be: enormous, fearsome, with a fire that can fuse sand into glass, a step that quakes the earth, and a voice deep enough to vibrate the air below the threshold of hearing. The cinematography is again spectacular, and the special effects are breathtaking. The enormous dwarf halls and carvings are very realistic. All in all, I cannot find fault with anything. Even the parts that are not in Tolkien's Hobbit fit in without visible seams. JRRT would have approved.

Improved Over the Note II

Without a detectable increase in dimensions, the Note 3 has the following improvements: slightly larger screen size, a faster processor, more built - in system memory, and a battery with an appreciably longer life. Also, the user can purchase a version (if you can find it) that accepts a 128G micro SD card (if you can find one)! The 3 feels more substantial than the 2. The screen size is good for reading text, and the sharpness (full 1080p) is very sharp. The size is just right for my rather large hands. In fact, if the Mega had everything the Note3 has, I would buy that. But since it doesn't (especially the screen) I have the Note 3. This screen is great for viewing photographs. If you shoot with a high-res camera, you can zoom in to small details with excellent results.
The accessories are fascinating, and the phone is easy to use. If I miss anything, it's the pressure/sensitivity adjustment for the S-pen; if there is one, I haven't found it yet. I recommend this phone highly.

The biggest disappointment in headphones for me was the lack of the deepest bass contained in some forms of classical music. While I have owned many very good phones in th we past, the sound of a symphonic bass drum or a 32' organ pipe sounded hollow, lacking solidity. This is no longer the case. The Sennheiser 380s not only reproduce the sound of the deepest audible notes, but also the feel - one can actually feel the sound waves vibrating against your ears, just as you feel it against your body in a live performance. These phones do that down to the lowest limits of human hearing.
The rest ofvthe frequency spectrum? The 380s continue Sennheiser's stellar reputation in clarity, timbre, musicality, and overall balance. They neither add nor subtract from the sound as the artist intended and the engineer recorded. My quest for a headphone that sounds real is ended! And they very effectively seal out all but the very loudest of ambient sounds.

I have always liked ST:TNG better than all other Treks, especially the original. Jean-Luc Piccard is the consummate starship captain: always in command of himself and his crew, able to take action without histrionics (can you say "Kirk"?), and having the gravitas we would expect for someone in command of the Federation's flagship. As Sarok said in his final episode, "He would have made a good Vulcan." The third season also happens to have my favorite episode. No, not the cliff-hanging final episode. "Deja Q", of course. It is great to see all this again, this time in high definition picture with sound to match. It is much closer to the movie experience than before, especially in the double episodes, which must be seen together. The picture quality is as good as Blu-Ray gets, as is the sound. Thanks to the people responsible for going to the film masters instead of the tape versions for this series of discs. The difference between the two is astounding!

Can I install a new Windows Home Premium software on a 5 year old hp laptop ?
I had a hp laptop given to me that's 5 years old and when I start it up it says I need to install a windows repair disk. My laptop I have now is over 10 years old so i am not able to upgrade it.
The message you're getting means that the Windows installed in the computer is damaged, but you probably already knew that. If no repair disk was made during installation, or if one is unavailable, the best thing to do is to take it to a local Best Buy Geek Squad. There buy a Windows 10 upgrade and have them install it. They will probably have to do some repair to you old Windows first, such as extracting the ".cab" files in order to do so. If your cmputer is not capable of taking Windows 10 for some reason, such as insufficient RAM, hard drive space, or processor capability, but these should not be a problem in a relatively new computer. If one or more of these problems exist, buying a new reasonably priced computer would be less expensive than trying to upgrade an old one.

Try shutting down the computer and removing the battery. If this doesn't fix the problem, do the following.
Since you don't state what you specifically did, in what order, and the results on the screen, it would be best if you took it to a store and had a member of the Geek Squad analyze it. They have more diagnostic tools than are generally available.

Bought wrong version of Mirosoft
Is there anything that can be done if I bought the wrong version of Office. I need Publisher and Home & Student 2013 doesn't have it. Already opened package and daughter downloaded for me before I realized.
You can buy Publisher separately. When you install it, it will automatically add itself to Office. Since you already opened and downloaded Office, it is non-returnable and non-refundable.

Looking for headphones specifically for voice-over work.
I used to have a Sennheiser headphones (with 3.5mm jack) to connect to my Mac for voice over work. I've heard Bose is excellent also have a Sennheiser wireless for TV and music in another room, but need something that is crisp, has good response and overall specs. Willing to spend up to $300 for a pair of exceptional headphones.
I have 2 pairs of Sennheisers I purchased at BB, but they may not be available depending on where you live. If you can find them, they are the HD 280 Pro and the HD 380 Pro monitor headphones. They are $200 and $300 respectively. They sound almost identical except for some difference in the lowest bass. If you can't find them, Magnolia in Best Buy stores has several headphones that are very natural sounding on music and speech, some of which are in your price range, including some Sennheisers among others. They also have different configurations, such as on-the-ear or over-the-ear. Go and see what they have. Check the headphones in both the regular electronics division on the main sales floor and the Magnolia section to be sure you got the best buy! :-)

This may be due to some malware your computer picked up. Try a cold boot (totally shut your computer down and remove the battery for about a minute). If this doesn't work, do a malware scan with your anti-virus software. Make sure you have the latest update installed! If the problem persists, take the computer to a repair center such as Best Buy for a diagnosis and cure.

How do these compare with the Beats Mixr's?
Hi I recently cracked the sound of my Beats Mixr's. I was wondering how well these would hold up at high volumes. Thank you.
They would hold up well, but you should consider the Sennheiser HD280s. They also are pro monitor headphones, they sound almost identical to the HD380s, seem to be built even more sturdily, and are about $100 less! I have both, and the difference in sound between them is so small that it took extensive listening and instant switching between them to hear any difference between them, and it was so subtle that I could write the same review about either of them. Only when your music goes to the very bottom of hearing are the 380s only slightly more solid. You will hear no difference on 99.48% of all music.
As to sound, the Beats phones sound artificially boosted somewhat in the midbass, where the Sennheisers may not be quite as strong, but are a more accurate reproduction of the recording. Listen to both, and decide for yourself. Trust your ears.

how do I determine which anti virus to use
You certainly cannot go wrong with Norton or Trend Micro. I have used both, but find Norton easier to use. Buy one that gives you all-around protection, such as intrusion protection, anti-worm protection, etc. instead of just anti-virus. The back of the box lists the various levels of protection available in each version, so you can choose the one that's best for you. If you want a specific name, Norton 360 and Trend Micro Titanium Premium are both excellent. Also go to Best Buy and ask a member of the Geek Squad which one he likes, and why.
