I am an Assassin's Creed fan. I have played every console release, including DLC and standalone arcade titles. I bring that up only so you'll understand the gravity when I say that this game is GARBAGE.
I'll try to keep it short:
-The missions are numerous, similar and tedious.
-Co-op and microtransactions are thrust upon you, with no clear benefit for the latter and a genuinely unfun experience for the former.
-Traversing the map is terrible. The game way overcompensates for movement, making the free running parts frustrating beyond belief. Even simple moves from the old games are all but impossible, as you're more likely to just give away your position as you bounce around uncontrollably.
-Combat is the worst. Very tedious. Not fun. No defense against firearms, which every enemy in this game carries and uses liberally.
Thanks to this game, I will NEVER preorder an Assassin's Creed game again. This game has obvious problems, there is no way the developer didn't know about them. Play Assassin's Creed Rogue or Black Flag for your AC fix. This game is for the hardcore, desperate or masochists only. I hope Ubisoft get's it back together soon.

The shadows are his home and keeping Gotham's citizens safe is his sustenance. Darkness envelops his every move and his legend lives in the whispers of each passerby. Known by many names — the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight, Batman — this man lives to protect. But by pitting himself against the criminals of a city, he has only made his laundry list of powerful enemies grow. One after another, a new and nefarious threat has risen up and one after another Batman succeeded in bringing them down. But what happens when those menacing masterminds join forces? Who will rescue Gotham when a deadly roster of depraved lunatics gangs up on the shadowed warrior? Who will save us all?The finale to the legendary Arkham series explodes onto your screen in the most adrenaline-pumping storyline yet. The Scarecrow has returned to Gotham City and he has united a terrifying team of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn. For the first time in the franchise, you get to step behind the wheel of the iconic Batmobile as you harness the power of Batman and scramble to outwit the wicked gang after your blood. Tear through the streets and soar across the skyline in heart-pounding gameplay that will suck you in and force you to ask yourself if you have what it takes to save Gotham. Do you have it within you to be the hero the city needs? Or will the villains of Gotham overtake the Dark Knight once and for all?

Should have been called "Batmobile"

It captures a lot of what made Arkham Asylum and Arkham City great: good characters, good storytelling, mostly responsible controls.
The Batmobile would've been a nice touch, but they really shove it down your throat. Many of the missions force you to clear paths for the Batmobile so you can use the car's gadgets to get through. There's a lot of baffling segments where Batman just goes into battles with other tanks that is a real departure from the Action/Adventure genre the Arkham series has occupied, which is not really what I wanted out of a Batman game.
TL:DR - Decent, but I want to be the Batman, not a valet for the Batmobile. This might as well have been a Speed Racer game.

I'm not someone who does well with fighting games, but I have come to love the lore and characters of Mortal Kombat. Story mode is excellent as always, and in single battles all of the characters now have several unique dialogs with every other character (no more generic "Let's fight" and "I'm ready"). Fatalities have also been simplified for folks like me who struggle with the inputs.

Decent if you like the play style of Resident Evil 4, but the game just bounces you around so much into wildly different locales that it has very little in the way of its own identity. A large majority of your deaths will be the result of "one hit" kills and traps. Prepare for a game comprised largely of trial and error scenarios. Not bad, just nothing special.

The main reason that I get gift cards for X-Box Live at Best Buy is because you can trade in your X-Box games for store credit and buy these for add-ons to other games and what not.

All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems. In Watch Dogs, this system is called the Central Operating System (CTOS) — and it controls almost every piece of the city's technology and holds key information on all of the city's residents.Prima Games' official strategy guide to Watch Dogs acts as a useful companion while you explore and navigate the game. With the exclusive 32-page Friends, Foes and Factions section, this hardcover Collector's Edition game guide delivers an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the story and world of Watch Dogs, as well as detailed backstory and lore for each major character. Utilize the highly detailed maps to learn every inch of Chicago, and learn the most rewarding path to each collectible. Uncover every main mission, side mission, investigation and collectible with the 100% completion guide. Learn all there is to know about Watch Dogs' multiplayer features and capabilities in the dedicated Multiplayer chapter. Connect to digital content by using the included free mobile version access code, which lets you access information from your compatible Web-enabled device. Watch Dogs provides plenty of thought-provoking challenges, and this game guide helps you overcome each one.

Watch Dogs is not a hard game to beat, so the main use I would have for the guide would be all the side missions and collectibles. If that's how you were intending to use the guide as well, then don't bother. In most cases you won't need the guide and in the few that you would, this is less than helpful.
The achievement/trophy "How To Earn" section, a main reason why I would want a guide, is an absolute joke. In all cases, the only guidance the guide provides you to unlock some of the more situational ones is just a word-for-word rehash of the achievement/trophy description.
Don't be lured in by the "character bios" either. There's little to no background there that isn't covered in game, and most characters only linger for a few missions anyway.
Pass.

It's an ambitious game, but it just doesn't excel in any particular area. The sneaking is subpar, the combat is subpar, the vehicles are subpar and you are more or less stuck on street level for most of the game, with very few areas letting you actually move up and around in them.
The game just feels like a lot of ideas that were thrown together without much thought or care. Not a bad game, just unremarkable. You'll forget you played it in a year or so.

If you are a fan of South Park, this is pretty much a must own. The game is very well written with plenty of references to the show (even the most recent season) and authentic voices.
The gameplay isn't groundbreaking, but it is passable and doesn't take anything away from the South Park experience. If you aren't a fan of the show, I don't know how well this will go over with you, but even if you strip out the South Park license there is still a reasonable game in here.
Plays very similar to the Paper Mario series.

Explore underworld cities, engage in side missions and put Isaac's engineering skills to the ultimate test in order to build the weapons needed to survive. A great example of how not to infuse co-op in your game. I picked this up for about $20 after I played the previous two games, but soon discovered that unless you are playing co-op it is impossible to complete the game with all side missions, collectibles and weapon upgrades.
The story and gameplay are just so-so, unless you got a buddy with you ready to tackle the co-op sections then don't bother.
