I took my time hoping that Microsoft would roll out a fix for this problem before I posted a review, so I could really be sure I was giving this product it's due. Unfortunately, I've had it awhile now, and the glaring issue has not been fixed. The controller randomly disconnects while you are playing! I'm assuming it has something to do with the wifi or bluetooth signals because if I don't bring my iphone near it, it seems to happen less often.
Let's start with the pros: Small size is really nice New controller feels more robust in your hands No more power cord brick, it's internal now! Backwards compatible games keep being added! It can connect and control my older Samsung TV and sound bar
Cons: The controller disconnects often for no reason!! No noticeable performance increase from previous version Only available in White (Where's my Halo 5 Colors!?) It needs a lot of huge updates and if you don't have a fast internet connection, you will be waiting a long time
I went with this one because I wanted the larger hard drive, and smaller footprint which both are really nice to have. If they would just fix the disconnect issue which is well documented online, then this would be a great piece of equipment. I almost went with a PS4, but the Xbone has backwards compatibility and that is really important to me. I don't want 6 gaming consoles so I can replay my favorite games, I want one or maybe two under my tv.
Maintain full control of your gaming commands with the customizable, illuminated keys on this Orion Spectrum mechanical gaming keyboard. Connect the unit to a smartphone or tablet to display in-game information when you need a second screen. Anti-ghosting protection keeps the Orion Spark mechanical gaming keyboard from freezing up during intense gaming sessions.
This is a really nice keyboard. I was looking for something that wasn't really loud when I typed. This one seems to be a good mix of relatively quite keys but still getting the gaming performance of mechanical switches. It is definitely not as quiet as a membrane keyboard, but I'm happy with it.
All of the color changes are done via the software, so your keyboard will do the rainbow theme until you computer has completely booted up. It would have been nice to have the information stored on the keyboard itself, but this is such a minor issue, it doesn't take away much from the experience.
The keys are back to a normal feeling, concave design which was why I waited for this model to come out. The wrist rest is also a bit more of a polished design than the older version. Most things designed for gamers go for garish these days, which makes it difficult for those of us looking for gaming capable, but refined looks.
One thing that stood out as poorly thought out, is the ARX Dock,. It looks like you could dock your phone there and use it and keep it charged...NOPE, it's just a place to hold your phone while it uses up the battery. Your phone does not actually connect in any meaningful way to the keyboard via the dock, it's simply a holder.
Like one film critic said, it's like seeing old friends. There's no ground breaking story here, but it is a nice introduction to the new characters and getting reacquainted with the older characters that we miss. This film is really setting up the next two (I hope), just like the original Star Wars did. If you are looking for a totally re-imagined and new story, you won't get it, but what this movie lacks in ground breaking story, it makes up for in well executed visuals and a sorely needed welcome home.
The ominous thud of an AT-AT stomping down. Rebel forces firing blasters. Imperial speeder bikes zipping by. Intense dogfights between squadrons of X-wings and TIE fighters filling the skies. Immerse yourself in the epic Star Wars™ battles you've always dreamed of and create new heroic moments of your own in Star Wars™ Battlefront™.Feeling the ominous thud of an AT-AT stomping down on the frozen tundra of Hoth. Rebel forces firing blasters as Imperial speeder bikes zip through the lush forests of Endor.
The visuals and graphics in this game are top notch, you really feel like you are in the middle of a Star Wars battle. It's very light on the depth and can often get repetitive at times. One thing I really miss from the previous installments was the starfighter dogfights in space. This game has them in the atmosphere of the planet and it's not quite as fun. You do get to play starfighters in a supporting role above battles which is actually a nice addition, but takes a long time to really master.
