This is the most basic of ovens you can buy, but was still an upgrade over the old one we inherited with our new home. We bought a beginner oven because there were so many other expenses and we invested elsewhere. We will eventually replace this one with a more elaborate model down the road. For a beginner this oven is very fundamentally sound. It does everything it is supposed to do very well, it just doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. An excellent value for the money.

I haven't had a counter top microwave in a long time, but I had to go this route because our new home didn't have a spot for an over-the-range. No instructions about how to operate the ice maker, do's and don'ts!
How long until we'll have ice?
The ice maker has to be connected to a water source before it will produce. I made this same mistake and waited for ice for a week. lol The installer should have connected the water hose to the back of your fridge and you turn it on at the source. This connection is usually on your water heater piping. Look for a handle on the piping from the wall going into your water heater and you should see a small pipe branching off. turn the handle and you will have ice in about 24 hrs, for some reason it takes that long, even according to the manual.

Condensation between the French Doors
We have just purchased this refrigerator. After two days of use there is condensation accumulating on the seals between the French doors although the doors are firmly closed. When we open the door the condensation drips onto the floor. Is this normal or should we call for service?
That is not normal, we have had no issues with this unit thus far and we have had it for two months. You might need to adjust your temperature settings, regardless I would call for service while you are still under warranty.

What filter goes w/this ref?
I don't know to be honest. The filters are usually only required for units with a water dispenser I believe, but I could be wrong.
