Jason Bateman might be the most underrated comedic actor of his generation. He plays SUCH a great straight-guy to ANYbody's more flamboyant antics, in this case Reynolds', with such fantastic deadpan and timing, it's just great to watch him as the whoa-is-me guy who never seems to get it right. Reynolds, of course, delivers with great timing and slapstick, as usual (e.g. Van Wilder), so the two playing off of each other is pure comedic GOLD.

What's great about it: Crude humor delivered by Bateman and Reynolds without ANY reservation whatsoever.
From the plot to the casting to the special effects to the special features, there is NOTHING that's not-to-like with this movie. One of the most clever, plot-twisting, thrilling movies I've seen in a long, long time!
Track 1 - sounds like a cheap versiontime of Bark At The Moon. Track 2 - probably the best song, but sounds like a Nuno Bettencourt riff. Track 3 - decent track, but Robin Zander? Really? Track 4 - sounds like a cheap Jane's Addiction cover. Track 5 - decent riff, but the vocals suck. Track 6 - sounds like a cheap Avenged Sevengold cover. Track 7 - nice, sludgy Sabbath-like riff, but Maria Brink's vocals are the highlight here. Track 8 - TOTAL Sabbath ripoff riff...I mean, c'mon, Jake. Track 9 - sounds like a Alice In Chains riff, but Sass Jordan's vocals are the highlight here. Track 10 - a quasi-PM Dawn piano-only...daaaFUQ? Didn't EVH try this and fail, too??? Track 11 - the "bonus track" that quickly and thankfully makes you forget Track 10, but again, sounds like an Alice In Chains ripoff. *sigh*

What's great about it: Hearing Jake again after 20 years.
What's not so great: The songs, for the most part, lack originality and sound like cheap knockoffs of some of his older work and other bands.
