No. You have to plug it in to the headphone jack on your device.

Can you wear the band on your ankle or perhaps put it in your pocket?? Do you still get accurate activity tracking this way???
It really seems like it's only intended for you wrist (I think the manual suggests your non-dominate wrist) but I couldn't get it to track accurately anyway. I think there are better products on the market.
