A Good Game Buried Under Weird Design Decisions

There's a great game to be enjoyed here, but a lot of strange design decisions that feel like regressions from previous entries in the franchise. The map can be frustrating and the in game tutorials aren't very helpful in explaining the myriad amount of systems going on. A lot of recurring elements that are entertaining at first become annoying after a while, and make you wish there was a button you could press to skip them, or an option in the menu to turn them off.
If you're not too bothered by any of that, then I hope you'll have as much fun with the game as I have had.
