There is only 1 USB port (tech two, there is one on the charger) so I recommend getting a small USB hub. I bought a 4 port IXCC hub which powers external HDs.

Complaints: Unlike the Charge, you can't see the battery level on it (but you can in the app) and the charging cable is different (in both size and length) from the Charge. I was hoping we could use the same cable but unfortunately, we cannot.

Since the plugs are facing each other, plugging in cables can be difficult depending on the size of the cable. Only 1 power brick or 2 with covering another plug.

I'm on my 3rd LifeProof case - I've had one since the minute I bought my iphone 4s. Unfortunately, the rubber material eventually wears off (especially if you put it in jeans pockets) after almost a year. My first one i replaced because it was dropped from my motorcycle, going 55mph, and phone was in perfect condition, but the case took a beating. 2nd all the rubber wore off - I did use the warranty and they did send a replacement for the front, but by the time back wore off, warranty expired. So now I'm on my 3rd, and since I'm planning to keep my iphone4s for a while, the LifeProof is essential to keep my phone safe from any damage!

SSDs are great, and the Samsung 840Pro's are the best. You can view them as "expensive" in comparison of the size, but for that price you are essentially getting yourself a new computer - without getting a new computer.
The 840Pro SSD will turn your older laptops into a laptop that is faster than a brand new non-SSD laptop!
Install the Magician software to update the firmware first, then use RAPID mode (if you have more than 6GB of RAM) for even GREATER speed boost!
Also: it comes with software to clone your current drive so you do not have to reinstall all your programs - but I've tried it both ways, and you will see a HUGE difference if you do a fresh installation instead of cloning your drive. Yes a fresh installation is a hassle, but having a laptop that is faster than brand new laptops outweighs the few hours hassle of reinstalling everything.

This should work for you, the initial "setup" is the most difficult in which you have to setup the "Home" zone, and it will alert you (via the app) that the device has left the zone. You will want to charge the device every few days.

Two quick questions. Is the lanyard long enough to fit around a man's neck? He won't remember to put it on but if I could put it around his neck he won't leave without it. Is it water proof. Can he shower in it?
The included lanyard is NOT long enough to fit around a neck of any size person or animal. You would want to just buy a separate lanyard that would be big enough.
The device is listed with an IP68 rating, and this is what that means according to Samsung: "Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes."
That tells me it should be okay to use it in the shower.
The device is listed with an IP68 rating, and this is what that means according to Samsung: "Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes."

I have the Samsung ONE CONNECT box. Optical to electrical converter per say. What port of the SAMSUNG ONE Connect do i hook up to the Sonos Beam? What are the available ports of the Sonos Beam?
You can only connect to the beam with an HDMI cable. It does come with an optical to HDMI converter for older TV's/receivers.

I have a 2008 Samsung without a Arc hdmi. What is the best way to use the beam for both streaming amazon music and tv audio without any receiver/amp.
The Sonos Beam comes with an optical to HDMI converter. Assuming your TV does have optical, you can simply use that. Music streaming you connect via your phone (Android/Iphone) using the amp, and it sounds great.
