I found the Garmin Forerunner 15 watch to be a great training partner. It has the simple step tracking for daily use and the higher level running settings needed to be used to track a run. It is the best of both worlds.

What makes this more beneficial than my Nike App on the iphone?

I'm new to running and wondering what this watch does that is different than the Nike App I have on my Iphone? Is it worth the investment for a new runner?
You don't have to take your phone when you run. The watch gives an added bonus of a step tracker.

Will this product sync with iPhones?
It will sync only thought the computer but the data can be seen on phones with the garmin connect a pp.
