A really good price for beefed up 2 in 1 system

I did a lot of research on 2 in 1s. I had moved from an Apple MacBook Pro to a Microsoft Surface Book choosing not to buy into Apple's pitch of trying to make you buy 2 products (a newer MacBook Pro plus an iPad Pro) to do the same thing as Microsoft Surface Book. I love Apple products but that is not a cost-effective solution even for Apple lovers. I also had purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with 8 GB memory 256 GB storage. However, it was not beefed up enough for a heavy business workload. Surface Pro 4 is a great product but I needed 16 GB memory and 1 TB storage. Microsoft Surface Book was beyond my budget to replace the Surface Pro 4 at this point. I researched for weeks online going back and forth on all the top 10 ranked products. It came down to HP and Lenovo. They had the same configuration as the Surface Book but were significantly less expensive than the Microsoft Surface Book.
I made 2 trips to Best Buy to give them a look over. **Best Buy tip** -
Find a Blue Shirt Sales Person on the floor for more advanced technology discussions. I started out with a non-Blue Shirt and realized I knew more than him on the HP and Lenovo products I was evaluating. Best Buy "Blue Shirt" seem to be more experienced and product knowledgeable sales people in Best Buy. They have taken a lot of training in Intel-based products provided by Intel so they can really guide you the best in making a final decision on which product is best for you. In defense of the non-Blue Shirt sales person, he did a good job and quickly pulled in a Blue Shirt to help me out instead of stalling out our conversation or making it up.
I ultimately chose the Lenovo Yoga 910. It's maxed out, light, easy to get up and running. I was able to migrate all my data and setup my programs from my Surface Pro 4 within about a day. I had to get used to some features but it is a sweet product. I have had it for about 1 month and it is humming along with a very demanding workload.
In summary, I think the Lenovo Yoga 910 (and probably the equivalent HP) is the best value for a maxed out 2 in 1. I may have been just as happy with the comparable HP 2 in 1. It also has great reviews online. Both are about $1,000 less than the comparable Microsoft Surface Book which the "Blue Shirt" also recommended. The Surface Book is a sweet 2 in 1 product but you are paying more for the Microsoft name in my opinion. If I had another $1,000, I may had gotten the Microsoft Surface Book again. Best Buy also sells the Microsoft Surface Book, Apple and most other major brand products. It's probably the best place to go to shop for a wide range of laptops and 2 in 1s. They are also constantly running good deals and promotions.
