The British sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf ran intermittently on the BBC from 1988 through 2012, encompassing ten seasons. As co-created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, it opens in the 22nd Century, when a radiation leak on board a Jupiter mining ship takes the lives of many of its inhabitants. Several characters do ultimately survive, including hibernating technician Dave Lister (Craig Charles) , a half-human, half-feline character named Cat (Danny John-Jules), and hologram Arnold Judas Rimmer (Chris Barrie); episodes depict their misadventures journeying through the vastness of the universe together. This box set contains all six episodes from Series 10, which originally aired in England in October and November 2012. Installments include Trojans, Fathers and Suns, Lemons and Entangled.
Season X is about as close to the classic Dwarf episodes as this show has come since Rob Grant left the series after season 6. Its is much more vital and funny than Back to Earth while still retaining the show's heart and wit. Highly recommended for fans of the show. Lets hope a season XI isn't far away.
The second season of this sci-fi thriller continues to follow orphan Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) throughout a deadly conspiracy after learning that she is not only a clone, but that there are others out there like her - some of whom don't have the best intentions.
The second season keeps the breakneck pace and intensity of the first. A brilliantly acted and written show that ups the ante with each episode. Really edge of your seat type TV.
This title contains every episode from the debut season of the British sci-fi thriller series Orphan Black starring Tatiana Maslany as a woman who discovers there are numerous clones of her walking the Earth.
A show that really draws you in with well written, exciting plotlines and great acting. Really original and unique mix of drama, sci-fi, and comedy. Each episode keeps building on the story and character development, making you want more.
The second Iron Man is a little heavier on the humor and a little lighter on the action, but is overall just as enjoyable as the first one. Plus, there are plenty of important events that take place in this one, including the introduction of Shield and Black Widow, that launch the Marvel Cinematic Universe forward. Nice to see an expanded role for War Machine as well.
This first entry in the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe starts things off on a good note. Really great performance from Robert Downey Jr. and a movie which is engaging and well written while still showcasing plenty of blockbuster action set pieces.
