This is a good cheap cable! We bought a small tv that my son wanted to set up in his room with an extra blue ray players had laying around. I went to Best Buy looking for an inexpensive HDMI cable. The 6600 should work for you just fine. I had a 3rd Gen iPad and used HP's "HPePrint" app to connect to this exact printer. The main thing you need to make sure of is that you have the printer and your iPad connected to a wireless network. I had a Verizon MiFi "hockey puck" and connected the printer and my iPad to it and printed a lot of documents.
