how many GBs is a 30$ card?

My friends and I are wanting to get a mobile hotspot for use while at work so we don't all use our data on our phones. So my question is, how many GBs does the 30$ card get you? is there a way to get unlimited data for a hotspot?
Ifs only 3gb, sales associate told me i could get 7gb for 30 but he was wrong onl 3gb
