It's great for a person who's on the go and wants to make every TV with an HDMI input a smart TV but it only connects through wifi (No RJ45 data Ethernet jack like the FireTv) Good thing is you can side load apps so basically you can install any app from Android that you want*

How do I attach Amazon-Fire Tv Stick to old TV's without HDMI connections and will I have to subscribe to download apps? Thanks.
Just get a newer tv because, Converters do exist but by holding on to your old TV your missing out on the great picture quality your going to get from this stick up to 4K ! Also yes you need have a Amazon account but don't worry it's free, you do need to register your Credit card number in even though it's free.
