As an avid fan of the series, I have been looking forward to this complete set for a long time. Season 1 and Season 6 Parts 1 & 2 have already been released on blu-ray before, and the quality of the video and audio on these discs seems the same. As for the rest of the seasons, you can see an improvement in the video each season. The extras are decent, although I could have used more. The packaging is slightly annoying due to the glue that you have to un-glue each time to get at the cases in the box. But, I am glad that each season got it's own case as opposed to some of the cheaper "sleeves" cases used before.
Overall, well worth it for one of the greatest series in history.
I purchased this as well as the 3D Blu-ray version of this film. I normally go 3D whenever I have the chance in order to get the most complete package. I also happen to be a steelbook collector, which is why I double dipped on this package. The steelbook is very attractive and sturdy. The disc's video and audio presentation are superb. This happens to be the very first Dolby Atmos-encoded release of a major motion picture. Although I do not have that setup at home, I have heard great things about it.
The movie itself is a slight improvement on the franchise as a whole, but still overly long and incredibly implausible (sometimes diving into the incalculably stupid). However, the 3D Blu-ray is reference quality. The image quality is superb and the IMAX portions are crystal clear. I only wish more of the movie was in the IMAX format. As for audio, this is the very first Dolby Atmos-encoded Blu-ray released. Although I do not have such a setup at home, I have heard that it is excellent.

I have played both Professor Layton games and Phoenix Wright games since the inception of both series. While not perfect, it was a blast to see these two come together. Only wish it could have gone more in depth into the joining of the two, but given not everyone has the same experience level/exposure, this is understandable.
