How user friendly is installing and using the mobile app? Most apps are hard to impossible to get set up/started. Really frustrating if you're not a computer geek.
Had mine and the wife's up and going within 15 minutes. Download the users manual from their website, follow the directions and you should be able to accomplish the same. There maybe a lag in connecting through the app at times but it is never longer then 5 minutes depending upon your home network.

HI - I am confused with this wording in the specs: "Camera Power Source: Hard wired, Plug-in" Does that mean we can plug the cameras into an outlet? Or do we have to run the wires to the DVR? Thanks
Each camera will have a cable ran from the DVR to the camera. This cable will carry the video signal as well as the power to the camera. There is a power transformer and a splitter cable for the cameras that will need to be plugged in close to the DVR. You will then plug the cable from the cameras into the splitter cable on the transformer.
