My previous TWC bill went from $120 to over $160 month. Time for some changes, replaced TWC cable modem with the NETGEAR - CM600, saving $10 month. With 24 downstream and 8 upstream channels, I have no problems with higher internet speeds. The status LED aren't too bright in a dark room and bright enough during the day to be easily seen. The case is a little warm but no hot spots, expecting it to run a long time.... Setup, when I returned my TWC cable modem I had my NetGear IP address and the TWC representative added to my account information, so all needed to do was to connect the new modem and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Should have done that a year ago.

Lots of features, camera, video, alarms, text and you can even use for a phone.... and without a contract you can still place 911 calls, so good for emergences. $10 well spent.
